When I think about Jud Duplenticy, I see so much gentleness. I don’t see the violence of his past. I see a marked, frightened boy in the body of a tall man who has spent a lifetime trying to take up less space, as if there’d be less of him to hurt.
He shields his softness behind the well-rehearsed composure of a priest, but deep down, in the loneliest parts of his heart, he longs for only one thing:
To be truly seen and loved, exactly as he is. To be known in the quiet, ordinary ways that matter most, not simply admired from afar but understood.

Im hoping using this blog how i use to in college will help me a lot creatively because i think it will help me with this move.
Also since im gonna be living alone i got a taste of what that will be like because my roommate was gone for like a week and i was fine, but the talking to myself increased ten fold lol.
Out of nostalgia i started doing a dialogue like i use to for my Jesse chats where i just talked to his character ( if you dont know that is how i wrote them , i just spoke out loud like a fucking freak lol)
But its really fun and itll probably do something of the sort , idk if people would even find that interesting anymore, but like one person did when i originally did it sooo 🤷♀️
So after reading my views on adventure land, I have something to say to my past self
I will say, I am surprised that I in general enjoyed the movie and recognized that the guy was in the wrong for the relationship between the older guy and Kristen Stewart's character.
HOWEVER
I was in college around this time and I was very school brained.
So my epic conclusion is that Jesse Eisenberg's character left his dreams of becoming a journalist or going to school for journalism to have sex .
That is very much not what happened .
He made it to New York, which is where he wanted to be so that he could work a job and make his way to the school he's been let into .
Then he meets Kristen Stewart's character who was already living in New York because that's where she was originally from . And he gave this big speech to her because he knew she would be there as well and.
AND SEX FOLLOWED BECAUSE THEY LOVED EACHOTHER
My fucking goodness out of all the things that I could've fixed on back then that is such a weird thing to do .
But to be completely fair, I was also in denial about being asexual back then and didn't understand why people talked about sex so much in general .
James is a sweetheart who still did some bad things like talking about the affair with emily and connell. But he did apologize for that and for being a little red pilled when he want on the date with the other girl.
Emily was going through a lot of shit and connel manipulated her to be his next side piece. And through that she hid a lot from James which she also shouldnt have done. But in general she apologized
So the first time i watched this movie i was in college and still a Christian so my feelings for this movie were slightly clouded by this . Seeing it with fresh eyes i have a few things ro say.
HOLY SHIT Ryan Reynolds is in this movie playing some fuck ass guy dating a barely legal college student while having a whole wife.
I dont even want to say what i thought about Kristan stuarts character when i was younger because i think i was just mad she hurt jesses character but she is a VICTIM!!!! This 40 year old asshole, leading her on , come on!!
James is a complete sweetheart. He didnt have sex with his old girlfriend because he wasnt in love with them. Sweet sweet boy , i can see why i liked him.
