Big Time Changes.

Today marks a new chapter for That’s a Good Question.

I started this blog 6 years ago as a place to put my thoughts, talk about some favorite products, post some music - essentially, it was a mental storage space, like a pinterest before there was Pinterest. But most of all, it was meant to be a place where I could practice writing, which I have loved since I learned the alphabet. Then, I graduated from law school and started my real-world life - and I stopped writing. I fell prey to that old advice that you should pick one thing to focus on and stick with it. I chose law, hoping that I’d get exceptionally good at being a lawyer. But I’ve realized over time - the 4 years that I’ve been practicing law - that choosing one thing is just stupid, crazy advice. Interesting people don’t do just one thing. They do tons of things. They fill their days with what interests them and in turn, they become interesting. The people I find the most inspiring and influential are multi-passionate. They eventually end up doing one thing exceptionally well, but they put their all into those many passions along the way, until they find the one that both satisfies their souls and pays the bills.

And so, I’m getting back to writing.

Writing with deliberate purpose. I don’t know what this will bring other than the great feeling that comes out of putting my heart into the written word. Sharing my voice with whoever wants to receive it.

One of my other passions that has developed over the last year has been yoga, which has led to my pursuit of overall health and well-being - so that’s what this blog will be about, in a broader sense. These things take a lot of nurture of many parts of our lives - not just our bodies, but also the mind, the soul, and the nurture of others; even our careers. It also takes a lot of exploration, questioning and practice.

I don’t plan to change the name of the blog with this shift, as I think it is still fitting. Constantly seeking, asking questions - that’s how we find our passions, fulfillment and hopefully, our happiness.

So that’s what will be here. I plan to write new posts every Monday and Thursday. I hope to see you here every week.
