Last night I opened a can of hearts of Palm for myself. I'm pretty sure it's the first ever pull top can I've opened near Spencer that wasn't cat food. I don't think he was too thrilled with the trickery.

A little late with my #mugshotMonday but I just got back from 2 weeks in the Catskills. I of course had to come sneak a peak at the last class soda fire. This sweet little mug was right in the front! Looks like a good firing! (at Worcester Center for Crafts)

I found some old Duncan molds at my favorite little thrift store in a Tibetan Center near Kingston. Surprisingly good condition. Too bad I don't do much casting. #thriftfinds @duncan_ceramics #iloveny (at Catskill Mountains)

Some of my favorite little guys from the last class soda kiln. These guys got perfect flashing and that's very hard to do in a kiln where I had no control over the firing or loading. I couldn't choose just 1 image of my favorite mug from the firing, favorite of those I can see before it's unloaded tomorrow. I have some nice mugs in the first soda fire a summer class did @worcestercrafts. Have is the correct tense because this, and others, are still in the kiln waiting to be unloaded during their class. A pot full of freshly picked pots! I had a large planter come out of bisque at the same time I was pulling these little saki cup out of the soda, very convient for transportation. I'm really liking the bright colors on this little demo piece. Just unloaded a bisque with all the work from the teachers enrichment class I taught last week. They used Mayco stroke & coat glazes on the outside now I'm glazing the insides with @amacobrent cone 6 glazes. #teaching #demo #lillstreetmugshot #color (at Worcester Center for Crafts)
