His Love DAY FIFTEEN

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” —Isaiah 54:10

As wonderful and rewarding as they may be, even the most special moments in life come and go. Whether it’s the moment you get engaged or the day you graduate from graduate school, none of these moments will last forever.

Even though life’s special moments can make you feel loved and appreciated and as if you’re on top of the world, no matter how big or how small, let nothing take that place of joy in your heart that comes from experiencing the love that God has for you. Because, in those moments when you find yourself comparing what you have to what everyone else has, and in those moments when you have that burning desire in your heart to be loved by someone, know that God’s love comes first

From the moments you are just sitting on the couch in your pajamas, trying to find something to watch on TV, to the moments you are with the person you love and you feel like you’re on top of the world—God’s love is stronger, and through Jesus Christ, you have full access to His love every single day. Even when:

1. You’re heart is broken and you’re trying to get over a breakup 2. You don’t know what it means to be in love romantically 3. You feel as if you don’t deserve His love because of what you’ve done 4. “All you want” is someone to text you back, message you back, or finally be intentional about you

No matter what, through Jesus, His love outweighs them all. Center all of your affections on Him. Because even on the day you meet the man of your dreams, or when you get engaged, or finally get married–it’s STILL His love that outweighs them all. Learn to lean on His unfailing love first!
