Which mythical creatures do u like?
This is a fantastic question (pun intended)!
I like pretty much all mythical creatures since I'm a big fan of speculative biology and weird organisms.
My favorite well-established mythical creatures are probably dragons, but even dragons have a million different varieties and every dragon is unique and special in its own way. Whether it be a drake, an amphithere, a wyvern, or some other take on "lizard that may or may not breathe some element and may or may not have wings," I just really like the variety.
Other honorable mentions include most things in the ocean (Subnautica's creatures, anything based on deep sea organisms), and really just anything cool looking.
My favorite thing about mythical creatures in general though is that it allows for maximum creativity. You can come up with any idea, whether it be combining different features of existing organisms or realizing an entirely new feature or niche yourself, there are literally infinite possibilities. So my real favorite is anything unique that I've never seen before.
I also like it whenever people follow science with their creations. If you can make up a biological function that explains how and why your creature can breathe fire or control electricity or something, I think that's really cool. Especially if it includes ecology.
I should also mention that I prefer dragons with larger wings (if any), because I find that most are drawn with wings way too small for them to actually be able to fly (again with the science). Unless you explain it with reduced gravity or increased air viscosity on your planet or something.
I will say the creatures with human faces (like the original manticore) do creep me out a bit though. But the uncanny-ness makes them good for horror.
in the court room. straight up "presenting it" and by "it", haha, well. let's justr say. My attorney's badge
I saw this post and immediately thought of them.
I was driving today and I saw a red and blue semi behind each other on the highway and I instantly thought of Ace Attorney.
I think my brain is officially fried.
I was talking shit about Nata over a Discord call and he pulled a fucking knife on me.
Nata: Don't you ever say that shit about me again.
I love Gundam.
He's right behind me, isn't he?
I can't help but notice the appreciation for Phoenix's Japanese name in your blog title. Very nice.
...That's it, that's the ask-
Thank you. I watched the anime (sub of course) and I think that really helped to put into perspective how much they localized stuff for the American version. I wish they just translated stuff instead of changing the entire world basically.
Also, I like dragons.
WHERE is the Miles Edgeworth to my Phoenix Wright??
I'm going back to sleep.
Rare non-Ace Attorney post incoming:
So I realized something about Monster Hunter Wilds today. I was messing around with the baby Seikrets because they're cute and I found out you could knock them over by stepping on them:
There are three ways you can knock them over. If you approach from the front, they get knocked backwards and get up quickly. If you approach from the back, they faceplant. If you approach from the sides, they get knocked over and stumble around a bit before getting back up.
The developers not only took into consideration that you would step on babies, but they also made sure you could step on them in multiple ways.
I love Capcom.
The bad ending:
I saw this post and I immediately had to make this.
Guys, which one do you think looks better?
THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE IMAGE IT'S SO GOOD
I need to post something Ace Attorney related but I refuse to make art or come up with something creative to say so this is the post. That's it. Thank you for reading.
tag yourself as one of the 5 billion(??) reoccurring aliases listed on Phoenix Wright's wiki page
I'm probably either Trite or Malignant tumor.
I played a game of real life Gartic Phone with my coworkers and the left is the beginning prompt and the first drawing and the right is the final prompt and the last drawing.
// I think there was only like one other person that knows who Phoenix Wright is, hence the explanation in the first one. Didn't help though LMAO
