This TikTok perfectly encapsulates one of my biggest frustrations with Betty La Fea La Historia ContinΓΊa. The music is ASS! There were like, two fucking tracks and what was one of the biggest parts of OG Betty was the beautiful and emotional music!! You knew EXACTLY what kind of scene you were watching when you heard certain tracks. You knew the exact the emotions that were being portrayed and sometimes even what character would be on screen during each super different song, and neither Ecomoda or Betty Continua has that element. Like the comments pointed out in this video, the guy doesn't speak English but he could just tell by the music that there was hella drama happening! I even did this with my own partner who doesn't speak Spanish, I said listen to the music of this scene and tell me what you think is happening right now, and they were perfectly able to describe what kind of emotions were happening on screen without knowing what they were saying. For such a big budget production, it's such a huge miss for me, among all the other misses.
I love how smart and witty Betty is with her quick answers to Daniel's attacks, going so far that Daniel is defeated and has to resort to insults about her physical appearance
