Here is the release video of Shadow Quest the video game contact I work on over the summer. It was released in its first location in September, at the Wisconsin Dells Great World Lodge and will be going to other Great Wolf locations in the near future. I hope to post renders of individual modeled assets I created for this game in the near future!
This is the finished product on the medical contract I work on over the summer. My work consisted of all of the lighting, texturing and fixing/remodeling of objects for the Medtrak company. All animations were done by Chris Overcash, a talented animator with both hand key as well as motion capture data. Rendered in Maya Mental Ray with Ambient Occlusion.

Sorry for not posting any new work recently. Currently I am working on two seperate contract projects and have been incredibly busy since graduating in February. Because of NDA's I can't post any work from my current projects on here until their completion. So hopefully I will have some work on here middle of next month from a medical project that should be wrapping up then. Hope everyone is having a great week! -Jewel

What the Future Holds?
So today I officially walked the stage to receive my degree in Game Art and Animation (yay!) So as of now I am officially on the market job wise, not that I hadn't been while still in school... I've been working non stop building up my portfolio so wish me luck on getting an interview.
This is a render from my final project I finished this last semester. In 15 weeks a group of three guys and myself created a 1 1/2 minute cinematic (24 frames per second) as well as a working Videogame lvl. In the cinematic we have our heroine who is based off of the comic series Witchblade chasing down M.U.G. (Aka the mysterious unknown guy seen in the image above) through the outer streets of Chicago. During the chase she gets hit by a bus which activates her armor and ends the cinematic. In the gameplay you are directed toward a motorcycle and continue the chase down highway 14 into the inner city eventually leading down into a subway. The game is still in a "beta mode" if you will but we got a lot accomplished for such a small period of time, and even managed to throw a few Easter eggs in for our own amusement. Unfortunately we had a few bumps along the way and a few textures never showed up when rendering so we will be redoing some sections. My part in the project was lead environmental modeler and texturing artist, creating all of the models in the image above besides the characters. As well as assisting in the lighting and exportation of all assets into the Unity Game Engine. I hope to get more renders of the project up soon.

Where's the 3D?
Update of what I've been posting! So far I have just been posting digital sketches and concepts. Although I have a large collection of 3D models I've done in the past year or so, I currently am in the process of going through and picking out ones to Render out to share with you all! I hope to get more of my artwork up here soon!
Did a rough coloring of a sketch I did last night while I was waiting for the car to warm up. I guess winter is good for at least one thing
Showing the finished recreation of a character I had done in the past. I threw some images of the progression of the piece from start to finish. It took me about 4 hours and was done entirely in the app Procreate on the iPad. Hope you enjoy.
