Nakadalawang revisions na ang article ko and hindi pa rin tama. Minsan naiisip ko na hindi siguro talaga ako magaling, hindi siguro ako para dito. Ginawa ko naman ang best ko and still, wala pa rin.

Today is my first day of work as a content writer/editor of one of the financial firms here. This job is unexpected. When I applied for this job last August 10, I told myself to do my best because nowadays it's difficult to find job even though you already have the qualifications, I applied different schools before this but was not selected. So when I passed the 1st and 2nd interview, eventually proceeded to assessment/final interview, I'm already grateful because I made that far.

But things didn't go well when they gave me a task to do a blogpost because that time, I got fever all of the sudden. Imagine having a fever when you're already in a final stage? When I submitted my blogpost, at the back of my mind I know this will not impress them. After 3 days, they texted me telling me that I was not selected for the job, and I knew it all along and we just laughed after reading the text message.

I thought that's the end of my application to their company, but unexpectedly, they emailed me saying that they will give me a 2nd chance. I was so happy that time, I remember, me and my boyfriend were in the middle of job hunting when I receive the email.

So fast forward, they require me to submit another blogpost and they quite impress with it and I undergone final interview with their Chief that's based in UK and got hired on the same day.

I'm just so grateful for this company for giving me the opportunity.

I found out early in the morning na ang lakas pala ng ulan kagabi. Tatlong poste ang natumba and napuno ng tubig ang lalagyanan ng mga plato namin. Even the small coconut tree in our backyard, natumba. I dunno but grabe ang mga nae-experience ng mga tao ngayon. Sumabog ang Taal Volcano, pahirapan sa paghahanap ng trabaho, and ang hindi matapos-tapos na pandemic.

We got home from my Kuya's birthday. We got home late because we have to wait for their friends to finish their drinks and on our way home we changed our route kasi may mga posteng natumba. Hindi kami makadaan. Grateful that we got home safe.

Everyone’s having fun right now. It’s good to see that despite the problems that they’re facing, they can still enjoy.

Today is my Kuya’s birthday. Kuya has been so good to me ever since. Even to his friends. I hope everything will be okay and will be back to normal.

Suddenly you felt nothing. Do you ever get that feeling that when you wake up, you feel nothing? Nothing. Empty. Blank.
