A flat version of my Cat in the Clouds artwork that I made for my business cards, it was originally painted on a plant pot which I posted last year. Update on the plant pot paintings: the paint is bubbling and peeling a lot on them, particularly at the top where water tends to sit. You could counteract this a little I think by wiping the tops after spraying/watering, but I don't know if the paint/laquer is generally made to withstand soaked clay for hours XD RIP those paintings, at least I have good pictures of them.

I made a self-portrait for a market stall poster and thought it might be fun to turn it into a Meet the Artist (and meet the cats). I don't have those clothes but I wish I did :D

A little comic based on a little poem I wrote ^u^ When the wind went, Why didn't I go with it? What set my feet still? Where is my heart yearning? Which silent order sent? Who called my joy forbidden? How unknown my own will, Became while sand was turning.

A Bender... Bender 😄

I went to the Avatar the Last Airbender concert recently, and decided to redraw an artwork I did a few years ago just for fun ^u^

A short comic about the process of making and enjoying tea. I've been really inspired by reading more of my fave mangas, web-comics and graphic novels as of late.

I find the most challenging part of making these one page comics is how difficult it is to tell a story in such a small amount of space. Often, one-page seems to suit comedy comics a lot, which has been the type of comic I've leaned towards in the past. I'm still working out how to set up a scene and resolution that tells other types of stories as well.
