Ever need a Hobbit fix-it I got you covered. I was having terrible difficulties coping after the movies, or moving on…so I wrote this up and shared it. Definitely Kili/Tauriel heavy, but there’s plenty of Fili, Thorin, and the company too. As well as time spent in Erid Luin with Dis, and Erebor. It’s there to read if you need it. ☺️

Sooooo…here. Take a Thorin. It’s feels off but what are ya going to do lol. It’s as good as it’s going to get. Art is really not my greatest strength but I try now and again. I just wish they would come out like they look in my head 😂.

On a side note I can’t BELIEVE I am just two terms away from finishing my MASTERS degree!!! Holy Vala above. Now I have to plan what my big celebratory gift to myself will be. Got Lego Rivendell already for my birthday a few years ago but I need to go bigger…I’m thinking New Zealand and Hobbiton. Maybe. Or Disneyland 🤣🤣🤣. Crazy though. In my innocent youth I never thought I’d be one day getting a masters degree and here I am. Now if only I could get my art to a level where I don’t cringe when I finish it 😅. Maybe I’ll just stick to writing, I’m a fair bit better at that.

Full disclaimer this is absolutely ai. Don’t come for me 😭. One day I will sort my drawing abilities out to produce something tolerable but after years of trying I low key give up lol. However, I cheated and I’m a bit obsessed with the result. So much so…I’m posting it knowing I’m probably going to be yelled at 😅😔. Anyway…if you read Reforged and Reforged and Strengthened (If you didn’t, um, spoilers if you plan to 🙃)…which is my massive and still going fix it fic for the Hobbit Trilogy Movie verse, these are Kili and Tauriel’s little ones: Finli, Orin, Naufi, Kilian, and Ithtiri. Too precious and almost EXACTLY how I pictured them in my head with two exceptions: one, I would have rounded their ears, these ears give more hobbit to me. Two, Naufi and Orins hair would be a bit more dark copper ALTHOUGH…I’m kinda loving it that bright red.

I will add this though, in regards to AI, yes I’m posting an AI image that no doubt has ripped other true sources apart piece by piece to generate. Eventually I want to use this as a reference for a commissioned piece or maybe for my own piece. I would never take credit for an ai image in any right. Also, nowhere in any of my writing do I use ai. I wanted to throw that in there. I guess the closest I get is spell check and I still get things wrong here and there lol. Nobody is perfect least of all me. Thats my disclaimer. Don’t hate me. I love my art community and support them as much as possible with my minuscule income. I just wanted to share this with any of my readers for funsies. Also, look at themmmmmmmm. They are so cuteeeee. ❤️. Don’t hate me. 🥺

Geeky stuff:

Skeptical as I am about movies (literally) going off book, I really fell for Kíli/Tauriel.

And I'm a sucker for "Kili lives" AU, especially when he lives and becomes King under the Mountain.

AND especially when he becomes King and married her!

Which is usually a big forbidden drama, you can't do that. Which is fine and fun.

Kinda wish there was more "dude, king scored an ELF"!! Like, achievement unlocked, great diplomacy move to unite Erebor and Mirkwood. And their children would combine dwarven and elven traits, including having special magics and a longer lifespan that would benefit the kingdom of Erebor.

Like, that sort of thing would be cool too.

I love them too!!! I ALMOST did this in my fic universe…but I didn’t lol. I do wonder what it would be like to make Tauriel a dwarven queen though. That would be epic. I adore her and Kili. He would for SURE proudly parade her around as his queen. 😍😍😍

Finished the hobbit trilogy again 2 days ago. I still cry every damn time ^^' tbh I feel way more connected and attached to the hobbit characters then LOTR, idk why.

I actually prefer the first hobbit movie, (as someone who has read the book, yes we exist), I think it's more interesting and you get attached more easily to the story and characters. Also I think the deaths are more painful but I think that's just me (some of LOTR deaths are awful im not saying otherwise).

Anyway, I just needed to mourn. Again. I miss them

SAMMMEEEEE. 😭😭😭. No matter HOW many times I watch the trilogy…I will sob every single time I watch it. And it’s not just you, I feel a much deeper connection to the characters in The Hobbit than I do in LOTR. I have no idea why, but I always have. And yes I’ve read the books too. This my comfort movie and these my comfort characters. The Hobbit trilogy will forever have my whole heart.
