hi I'm jhoca welcome to my simblr, this is where I make/convert sims CC and share my builds for the Sims 4! *I'm not very active lol. Feel free to edit/update my CC (and please tag me if you do! I'd love to see it) my CC | my BUILDS | YouTube
The Davenport Homestead Manor from Assassin's Creed 3, built as accurately as possible in the Sims 4! A full bath is included for Sim functionality and gameplay. I also added bonus bedrooms for Haytham and Shay Cormac in the parts of the house that Connor can't enter. Turn on bb.moveobjects and all debug cheats before placing. Enjoy!
*The building by itself can fit on a 30x20 lot.

Carpenters' Hall in the Sims 4! Carpenters' Hall is a historic landmark - it hosted the First Continental Congress in 1774 and was home to Ben Franklin's Library Company, The American Philosophical Society, and the First Bank of the US (Source), just to name a few.
This building was historically used for different purposes, and its Rooms were rented out by different organizations. During the Revolutionary War, part of the first and second floor was used as a hospital. Ben Franklin's Library Company occupied the second floor until Dec 1791. The American Philosophical Society "rented the first floor West Room" from 1780-1789 (see the full timeline of Carpenters' Hall).
References: The official floorplans for the building are available here (Philadelphia Buildings and Architects). I referenced these floorplans alongside this essay on Carpenters' Hall by Charles E. Peterson (published in The American Philosophical Society's Transactions Vol. 43, Part I; accessed via the National Park Service archives), which includes written accounts of Carpenters' Hall as described by John Adams and others, and which ultimately served as my guide.
I tried to recreate Carpenters' Hall as it might've looked during the Revolutionary War, but because the building was undergoing changes during the War (i.e. its occupants, the state of the building itself), as well as the limitations of the game, this is not a completely accurate representation of Carpenters' Hall (see notes below cut).
This build combines some of the Hall's multifunctional purposes during the Revolutionary War: as a meeting place, infirmary, and Library. For some areas (i.e. the cellar, the garret/attic, etc; bathrooms are included for Sim functionality and gameplay), creative liberties were taken.

Notes:
I've placed tiles in the first floor hallway (the entire first floor of Carpenters' Hall is tiled), but those tiles were installed after the Civil War (Source) and likely would not have been there during the AmRevolution. I've included the tiles in the hallway in homage to this.
The first floor was, presumably, once partitioned by walls - to serve as rooms for tenants, such as The American Philosophical Society, who "rented the first floor West Room" - however, these walls no longer exist in the present day. You can see where walls once stood in these floorplan drawings of the first floor (indicated by the dotted lines).
There are many smaller rooms on the second floor (as seen in these floorplans) that are nondescript and could've been used simply as storage space. To represent the multifunctional purposes of Carpenters' Hall during the War, as well as to fit the gameplay needs of Sims, I turned them into functional spaces: infirmary, extra beds, full bath, study/desk room.
The library on the second floor (off-limits to the public) is based on the available photos on their website: carpentershall.org. This library, as seen in their photos, really belongs to The Carpenters' Company - and not Ben Franklin's Library Company. You can read more about the history of The Carpenters' Company library here. For the purposes of this build (and in-game), the library is one and the same.
The third floor (the attic space within the roof; the support beams, framework, etc) is omitted due to game constraints.
The City Tavern, built as accurately as possible in the Sims 4! This was the site of General Washington's headquarters, where he and his aides-de-camp stayed in August 1777. (It's currently winter in my game, so the windows are frosted and they lit every fireplace lol)
City Tavern (the restaurant) has been closed since the pandemic, but the official floorplans for the building are available here: Philadelphia Buildings and Architects - City Tavern. I referenced these floorplans alongside photos from the City Tavern website, the Independence National Historical Park page, as well as Google maps and reviews.
I tried to recreate the place as faithfully as possible, though for some areas (i.e. the cellar, the third floor, the garret/attic, etc; a full bath is included for Sim functionality and gameplay), I had to use my imagination - what it might have been like during their stay.

So one of my favorite webtoons, Heir's Game, ended in December and I was so devastated. I didn't want it to end! I decided to make some of the clothes the protagonist wears in the webcomic to assuage my grief. It's set in a sort of fantasy world with 18th and early 19th century costumes that are quite close to historically accurate. I also thought it was a shame there were none of these gorgeous full-skirted waistcoats in the Sims (at least, not at the time I started making this nine months ago... has anyone else made one yet?) However, it's not totally historically accurate as it's also kind of fanart.
But this would probably work for mid-18th century. I recreated a lot of the looks seen in the webtoon and also made some plain swatches for less dapper gentlemen.

This is a fullbody outfit for teen/adult/elder without included shoes or stockings. (My shoes are located here). More information and closeups below the cut.
There's a lot of embroidery on these waistcoats. The one above I hand drew to mimic one that appears frequently in the comic, but all of the others I borrowed from existing Sims clothing, mostly Indian wedding clothes. Those 18th century Europeans certainly loved taking stuff from India... I had some ideas for drawing some elaborate designs on these, but then I remembered that I'm not really that good at drawing textures. There are a lot of 18th century creators in the sims community who are, so I hope that some of you might recolor this one.
The back of real life waistcoats of this type were usually linen or cotton, sometimes not even dyed, as it was intended to be hidden beneath the coat out in public. However, it does look prettier all in the same fabric type, doesn't it?
The weights on this mesh were tricky, which is part of the reason I waited close to nine months after starting it to finish it. I think it looks pretty good for the normal sims activities, but I found when posing in CAS that the waist area looks strange with a lot of CC poses. I don't think I can fix that without messing up the other weights, so I'll just be leaving it as it is.
Also, please read Heir's Game! It's really good, and you can read it for free on webtoon. Lots of political intrigue, sword duels, violence and it's also very gay.
In the early century wigs for men were long and flowing, but come the mid century hair tied back, often with curls covering the ears, became the trend. Styles became shorter and tighter as time progressed, until long hair completely went out of style by the end of the century. CC links and reference images under the cut.

Washington's Headquarters at Valley Forge, built as accurately as possible in the Sims 4! This was the site of General Washington's command post and living quarters, where he and his aides-de-camp stayed during the winter encampment of 1777-78.
I visited the Valley Forge National Historical Park and tried to recreate the headquarters as faithfully as possible, though some areas were not open to the public (like the basement cellar, which is where I included a full bath for Sim functionality; I assume it was intended for storage), and I had to make the hallway larger to fit the stairs (the real house is very small!).
★ You can see the reference photos I took at Valley Forge here (Google Drive) - feel free to download them for yourself :)
*The house by itself is 20x15 tiles.

TS4 Link's House - Twilight Princess - 30x20* (NO CC)
Link's house from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, built as accurately as possible in the Sims 4! I included hidden rooms for Princess Zelda and Midna, and a bathroom for functionality. (I used mainly Horse Ranch, Werewolves, and Cottage Living.) This has been play-tested** (see below). Be sure to use bb.moveobjects and the debug cheats before placing. Enjoy!!
*The house by itself can fit on a smaller lot without the landscaping.

**Suggested edits / corrections for gameplay
By default, the sims think the front door is the secret door to Zelda's room. To change it to the correct front door, you need to replace the front ladder with a staircase. (Apparently front doors cannot be placed above a ladder.)
The sims have some trouble with the kitchen counters due to the Werewolves shelf and decor. Delete the shelf and the decorations for better functionality.
TS4 La Squadra Base - JJBA Vento Aureo - 30x30* (NO CC)
La Squadra Base from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, built as accurately as possible in the Sims 4! This is where they hold meetings (and where they received the Sorbet packages…). I included bedrooms, an office for Risotto, plus a kitchen and bathrooms for functionality. I personally believe they all live in their own apartments, but in my save file, they're in the same household lol ♥ Be sure to use bb.moveobjects and the debug cheats before placing. Enjoy!!
*The building by itself can fit on a 20x15 lot (everything else is decorative - but the back alley has bonus outdoor activities!)

Club Escapade in Paulownia Mall from Persona 3! ("Escapade" is a banned word on the sims gallery, so I called it "Club Escape" lol) Some other storefronts are included, but they are empty / decorative. *Escapade by itself can fit on a 20x15 lot.

TS4 Paulownia Mall (Karaoke) - Persona 3 - 30x30* (NO CC)
The karaoke place in Paulownia Mall from Persona 3! The other storefronts are included since the karaoke bar is located inside the mall, but they are empty / decorative (for atmosphere lol). *The karaoke bar + "Velvet Room" can fit on a 15x15 by themselves. I've only played P3P, so creative liberties were taken on the interior of the actual karaoke bar lmao

The Iwatodai Dorm from Persona 3 built as accurately as possible. It includes all bedrooms and bathrooms. Due to the shape of the exterior, the layout for the other half of dorms (seniors' side) is wide instead of long (because video game logic insists that the interior is always bigger than the exterior lmao) ♥ Be sure to use bb.moveobjects and all the debug cheats before placing.
