I haven’t seen this mentioned much but I do think that Bailey is pretty involved in anti-cult activities.

Like let’s just look at the mansion update. If you choose to let Avery fall, Bailey is on the scene so quick, almost as if he knew what was gonna happen. Granted, it’s a small town, he could have driven there fast once he saw the smoke.

But then there’s the explosives in Avery’s mansion, and the storage locker for PC. There’s no way he arranged all that on the fly once he saw the smoke, AND drove down to the skyscraper. That’s more like the actions of someone who knew in advance Avery wouldn’t be returning.

And let’s not forget Bailey’s warning when Quinn, who is also somewhat involved in the cult, wins the card game. Or how Bailey tries to stop Harper from taking PC to the asylum. Bailey’s worried look at the mansion party. The QnA that states that Bailey would go to war with Remy if he sacrificed an orphan.

Or even the unusual symbols carved around Bailey’s apartment, and his seemingly good relationship with the temple (I always thought it was a little odd that Bailey brings Jordan with him to rescue PC from Kylar).

Landry mentions a few times that he and the Brown Fox are working with some powerful people who wish to remain anonymous. We know Bailey is pretty powerful and influential 🤷‍♀️

Plus in the aforementioned QnA, Vrel said Landry is one of the NPCs who would side with Bailey in said war. I thought that was an unusual NPC to link to Bailey before now.

But that’s just my two cents, I think Bailey is gonna play a big part in future story updates for the game 😌

This might be a boiling scalding take for the booktokers but if you truly read this novel and the only thing you got from it was "worms are scary and the guy who kills everyone is funny" and not "the patriarchy violates and eats men alive from the inside out" I would encourage you to read it again
