Do you watch TV series? And if so what's your favourite?
I do watch telly sometimes, yeah.
I'm fond of Doctor Who, but I also like Life on mars.
And Molly's been getting me into Glee.Awful show. But oddly entertaining.

Jim, do you believe in vampires?=))
That's ridiculous, they're fictional monsters designed to scare cretins and children.
And more recently make the more idiotic teenagers swoon.
Society makes me feel a bit ill sometimes actually...
Gay.
I'm sorry?
Dear Jim, I'm sorry for such a silly question, but what do you think about Raskolnikov? And his theory about ordinary, obedient to the laws people and extraordinary, which are allowed to do everything they want? (And sorry for my English too D:)
Dostoevsky was a good author. I'm glad my ask has intelligent questions to answer.
In theory, it sounds great (Impractical, but great.) But obviously there are several faults. It would quickly become a class thing, eliminating the original ideals entirely. If a society was to start out on those ideals, then it may have a chance, but changing a society to fit the theory, wouldn't work, there's too much corruption in the world. And as we saw demonstrated in the book, Raskolnikov saw himself as a great man, leading him to feel entitled to commit murder. Clearly he was not a 'great', but what constitutes 'great'? Who picks those allowed to be outside the law? Can they be corrupted with bribes and promises? Besides, he went mad fairly quickly, clearly not an extraordinary man.
Your english is fine, Dear.
The truly great find their way around law without silly political theories.
JAMES!!!!!
GRAYFACE!!!!!
Do you believe in God?
God. A magic man in the sky that watches over all the little dolts on earth. A romantic notion, but a ridiculous one.
My family was very religious. Strict catholics, but I, obviously, am not.
The local church is lucky, there would be a lot of therapy to pay for if I went to confession every week.
Jim, come back... Please...
I can't come back if I don't have any questions Dear. As it happens I got a few recently, though I've been away... For the holidays, of course.
just wondering what a brilliant actor you are. all the play with the beginning, acts and final is planned. but is what we see on the stage happening actually? can there be not a little changes in the script - or may be something is not what it seems? what about playing longer that it was expected?
Deviations from the script are unacceptable.
...Unless something more interesting comes into play.
Don't be dull Jim, there are plenty of ways to take over the world without using the military or actually killing someone, threatening works just as well.
Oh, agreed that you could take over large parts of the world through that. Though, to be honest, how do you expect anyone to believe your threats if you've never actually had someone killed?
You can't 'take over the world' though. That's a child's dream and one that I particularly dispose. How boring would it be? Controlling everything. There'd be nothing to do. Ever. Ugh.
That said, it's always nice to have a bit of power.
Dear Jim, thank you that you bother to answer all the questions. Moreover you do it with grace and wit and patience... It's admirable. You know, if I had to answer some of these bizzare questions I'd rather go to some roof and shoot myself in the mouth. Didn't it occur to you? What if we get addicted to your blog and the possibility to talk to you? (Some of us have got, in fact:)
I'm not sure I'm all that patient, but thanks none the less.Trust me, some of the ones I've answered on the blog are among the less bizarre ones. Some are nigh on unanswerable.
Hmm, shoot myself? Well, it's certainly a lovely, dramatic way to go, I could do it on the roof at work...
Oh, but I've already got a plan for my departure from this world. IT'll be... explosive.
I'm glad you're enjoying my blog, Dear. ;)
Dear Jim! Thank you very much for your fairytale, it was great. And thanks for your answers my questions. I was really touched. Now I know you are good man.))
No problem, I've got to practise my storytelling anyway.
But I'm afraid you're mistaken, my dear~I'm far from a good man.
Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim of the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I being poor have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.
Ahh, Yeats.
Nor dread nor hope attendA dying animal;A man awaits his endDreading and hoping all; Many times he died,Many times rose again.A great man in his prideConfronting murderous menCasts derision uponSupersession of breath; He knows death to the bone --Man has created death.
I love his poems.
Do you know about Giovannini Mirror Syndrome? Would you like to look at the mirror? What will you see there?
Giovannini Mirror Syndrome is a made up illness.
When I look in the mirror I see a very good looking man in expensive clothing. I have no problem with that.
What helps you to feel more confident?
A good suit, some 'support' from the people I work with and having the upper hand in all situations.
Not that I need any help to feel confident. Confidence isn't an issue. I know I'm fabulous.
Jim, dear, are you serious with all this sweet kittens stuff (the baby tigers photo)? Oh, you've got such a tender heart... :) Or was it Molly again who posted it for you? <3
I quite like tigers. They're hardly sweet dear, they're taught to rip throats out at a young age. They are hunters, predators, not cute.
This isn't me going soft, if that's what you're excited about.
Though I have to admit, they were sort of cuddly.
Hey, Jim! How much time do you live with S. M. (you understood about who I say)?
'Simon'? We live together full time, I guess.
We've been living together for about a year and a half.
Dear Jim, since the Vienna Academy of Art hasn't accepted me, I've decided to seize the power. Would you advise me from where to start?
Hmm... I'm really resisting the slow, ugly laughter that's threatening to spill out of me and answer this seriously. Then again, non-serious questions should be treated with non-serious answers.
Hm.
Stay away from the military, it's not your thing.
Maybe open a cupcake shop.
Don't kill anybody. I mean, it's all good and fun, but there is a limit.
Basically, go die.
