 #this gif set is particularly upsetting because now the normal thing in my experience would be to move the book #toward the middle #so that both parties could perhaps share whatever two dimensional wonders said book has in store #however i see that is not at all what’s happening here #the thought literally does not cross quinto’s mind #which leads me to believe #a) quinto was never taught to share and it is always a one person party in the house of quinto and that person is quinto #and everyone else - except for noah and leonard nimoy - are house guests who are perilously close to overstaying their welcome #b) quinto is extremely committed to making chris pine work for everything to the point where chris pine does not even notice #oh zach has thing oh i would like to look at thing but zach has thing and i must not ask for thing no i must earn thing #or c) quinto quickly takes stock of the situation and decides that being casually draped in chris pine is not a bad place to be #i’m actually furious right now i do not want to be here

Bernie makes me see him as such a gentle soul. I just thought about growing up in a family where everybody is a hero and his father never really respected him – and again, this is no reflection on the man. This is only the character that I read. It was a bit easier to do that because the clothes were so heavy. I kind of did imagine him as an eggplant. He’s not a star. He never thought of himself as handsome. He’s an everyman. I liked the idea of this guy that hadn’t found his voice. It was hard for him to speak up. It was hard for him to be confrontational. It was hard for him to ask for what he wanted. He was like the runt of the [family].
