Are all of your characters sexuallh abusive or abusive overall? I understand if it's a fetish, but I would like to know why you did this.

I’m assuming you’re mostly referring to Artemis and Doros, And I have kind of wanted to put out some sort of disclaimer for a while now.
The thing with these two, in Every iteration of them (and we’ve done… a lot…) is that they’re in this constant state of dangerously skirting the line between consent and abuse. Part of the reason I don’t go in to much detail about ‘what’s happening’ is because I don’t want to give anyone the mistaken impression that I’m glorifying the fucked up shit that they do to/with/for each other.
I think… a core driving force behind both of these characters, and what the basis is for their chemistry, is that they both Really Want to be good people. They wear the traits of ‘good’ness like clothing, but underneath they’re both awful. And neither can escape that. So when they strip off all that veneer of ‘goodness’, and can be terrible together, there’s this ‘sigh of relief’ that happens.
Them both being monsters under their masks doesn’t negate it though. The appeal for Me is in the details of ‘how do they live with themselves’ and ‘how do they live with each other’ when the lights are on and they’re both still fucked up. Yeah, there’s a touch of fantasy to their world and their story (stories), but it’s not the kind of magic that’s going to ‘fix’ anything for them. Consistently, magic only ever makes shit Worse. They have to pick up the pieces the same as you or me at the end of the day.
So basically, the characters have their own motivations for what they do.
And I have my own reasons for writing it. But I do so consciously knowing this isn’t ‘romantic’ or ‘sweet’. It’s just two fucked up people doing the best they can, and messing it up more often than not.
If this was something I saw in my real life friends, I wouldn’t be okay with any of it.
But creative arts, writing, drawing, story telling of all kinds, is about exploring the ‘what if’s, and I’m a fan of exploring the shit that I know better than to accept in my day to day life.
