This is a MegaStar Gemformers collection.

Starscream is a star-shaped pearl in different colors, and Megatron is an Obsidian.(G1/cybervers→Fire Obsidian；TFP→Rainbow Obsidian; SG→Blue Sheen Obsidian)

I picked Obsidian for Mega mainly because I once watched a SU analysis on YouTube saying that non-fusion Obsidians seem to be more like army-based construction workers — basically labor-class Gems. Not super high in status, but very powerful. And since we also see Snowflake Obsidian having some unique abilities in the show, it just felt like a really good fit.

As for Starscream… no explanation needed. Pearl-coded from the start 💅✨

And their fusions will be like…

I don’t think I have time to draw these but it’s fun to think about it.

Hello, TF Fandom! Just broke out of a ~2 year art block. It feels like I’m rising from the dead. I hope it lasts, as it was hard to be bummed out about not drawing while also not having the drive to fix it. I want to share more art and maybe do commissions as well sometime in the future. Though, I have no idea what I should even charge for these kinds of things. Anyways, it’s good to be back.

Also, does anyone else’s art become darker or desaturated upon posting?

Hello! I hope this question doesn’t bother you. I was wondering if you had any opinions on characters like cliffjumper or ultra Magnus? I often see people portraying cliffjumper and bee as twins or just different color versions of each other and it’s not my favorite take. Or how people often only talk about ultra Magnus in his relation to Megatron, even though he is an interesting character dealing with his own issues separate

I assume you're talking about IDW? IDW Ultra Magnus is hella tragic. He fought in that millions of years long war and gave up his life for the Autobot cause and then unstead of honoring him with proper last goodbye they took his image and his reputation and made a puppet of him with a tiny freak that pretends to be him sitting inside. I find it to be a great horror material. Imagine dying and then your life and your personality and your body becomes a fucking tool in the hands of a completely new person? And that new person plays you except. Not really. Because it's not you anymore. It's new and fake and artificial and twisted version of you. And even after the truth is revealed - nobody really cares that much. You as a person aren't erased but stolen. Your identity is not yours anymore. Someone else owns your life and your image and your body. Your death could haunt the narrative but you don't. Because there's no you. The "you" is not yours. Just imagine. That is some very dark shit right here
