I need you to know that your jazzprowl comic and Jazz Is Brutal headcanon yanked me out of a depressive creative slump I've been in for months. It's been hard to eat or shower and I've been feeling like garbage cuz I haven't been able to create, but! I saw your comic and it flipped a switch in my brain: I got hit with an idea and wrote like 2k words in a single setting!! I feel better than I have in months thanks to you, and this is the first day I've had in a long time without scary/harmful thoughts.

So I’ve been following the situation in Iran for a few days. I know people personally who are from Iran, and when I say my friends are terrified right now, numb from constantly wondering if their families are even still alive. It's a lot. As of today over 35,000 people have been murdered by the Iranian government, shot in the streets and in their homes – all for exercising their human right to protest, a right we in America are feeling less and less of by the degree. This horrifying example of what we’re fighting to prevent in the US is happening right now in Iran, and it feels like hardly anyone is talking about it. and i mean, people i expect to be talking about it arent talking about it. if i didnt know people personally effected, i might not even know this was happening. indeed, America is currently facing a dangerous internal threat, and it is good to be fighting and protesting and staying focused, but that does not mean we need to stay silent about what is happening overseas. It is not our country and it is not our government but it IS still our fight. Let’s talk about it in the same breath, because none of this is acceptable.

Iran keeps blacking out communication, but if you want to follow what’s going on I hear Iran International is the recommended source for official live coverage (sadly not in english but they do have english posts). My Iranian friends do not recommend BBC news. The main goal right now is spreading awareness, if people arent hearing about this, it’s by design. The people of Iran are demanding freedom from a dictator and the response has been genocide. Families arent leaving their homes out of fear of being executed in the streets. Why havent the world powers done anything? 36,000 people is obscene, imagine digging through that many body bags just to see if your son is dead or not. Really think about that.

I don’t like to get overtly political on my silly little robot art blog channel cuz honestly I don’t have the constitution to really argue with people anymore. but hey, I was asked directly to say something, and it’s really the least I can do. i get this is a lot yall, but i aint saying to give into despair because of the horrors. i get theres not a lot we can do to fix global atrocities. we can barely even fix our own government. but people are fighting, let’s not give up, because it’s not just about fixing things. it’s about being informed, mindful, understanding that this is human history and we are a living part of it, and in light of all that to still choose kindness. The other day, my neighbor (who i dont even know) helped me shovel out the icebergs that formed around my parking spot without me even asking – just saw me struggling with my little hammer trying to chip away the ice into chunks small enough to shovel and he helped me clear a mountain of snow. Thats the kind of thing that reminds me of our humanity. Be extra kind to your Iranian neighbors this season, look out for one another, spread the news, and stay safe wherever you are.

I know ur probably being bombarded with asks twin but I just can’t get your most recent Jazzprowl comic out of my head, I’m sorry I HAVE TOO!

Ok QUESTION! If the roles were to be swapped and Prowl was the one injured, would Jazz have left him? Something in me says he wouldn’t even though he begged Prowl to leave him. Would this be something brought up by Prowl in a confrontation? Because if I were in his shoes I’d be feeling an insane amount of doubt for my partner knowing they wanted me to leave them. IM JUST SO CURIOUS!! (also ur art is super yummy diva keep slaying 🙏🙏🙏)

Here's how it would go if the roles were reversed (in my mind): Prowl would not beg Jazz to leave him, because despite everything, he holds more hope in his spark-- and he's not so quick on his feet. He would run the calculations over and over again in his head, all the while Jazz is talking sweet nonsense about how Prowl is gonna be just fine. (Jazz is desperately hoping that Prowl isn't thinking about it too hard.. hasn't run the numbers) Because the thing is, the moment Prowl finally decides that there is no hope, and that it's either just him dying or both of them, he isn't asking. He's pressing the kill switch, and taking the decision out of Jazz's hands.

OK HELLO so I've been peeking at your art for a while now because it's so beautiful. Like your transformers designs for ELITA!!!!!!!! And Jazz and Prowl (that one thing you drew with Jazz and Prowl like "my extreme personality drives everyone away" or something is IN MY HEAD. All the time.) But. what was I

OH YEAH and the one with the Jazz and Prowl where JAzz's visor is playing all of the youtube shorts and stuff that one too

AND THE ONE where Prowl's leg is bleeding out and the speech bubbles are masterfully arranged to lead the viewer's eye to prowl's leg EXACTLY as it comes up in conversation again

and the one with elita and ironhide and it's like "megatron attack squad"

and the one where Optimus is posing excellently and shitting on Rodimus who is standing behind him and dancing and they're talking about what the matrix even sees in them

OKAY the point is that i like your art A LOT. And this jazzprowl comic you just posted as well as your DESIGN LINEUP (*excited fangirl screaming*) is driving me insane. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. It hurts so much. it makes me really really sad like I just got gut punched in the feels. And I LOVE THAT!!!!!!!!!! it's...what is that word. It's panging me. It's full of pangs.

I LOVE how you consciously use pink to signify the energon and how bad things are. I LOVE YOUR RATCHET DESIGN ALSO. I love prowl's stupid cat eyes because they are so beautiful and disarm me with their constant shocked-ness. I love Jazz. also with Jazz's visor off you can really see that he's super cute (and crazy and mean and delightful and desperate) aND I really have stuff to do but I just needed to tell you that I love what you're doing!!!!!!!
