A big part of me only wanted to say that first line and disappear. As if I'd never do this again, any of it. 2 is my favorite number. Red is the color I identify with the most. Jo, Chris, and Larry helped immensely. And believed the whole way that this could be achieved. The writing started with me wanting to capture my most naive side of love. Romance, self, and appreciation of the simplest interactions. To conquer fear. To do EVERYTHING, is what I'd constantly say. I get lazy. I like talking about myself when I'm not. Fast forward, I've been consumed by the product. My life started to seem less important than finishing itself, it really was. Hell my life went to number 3 on my priorities. The second priority was always my favorite, the true motivation behind maybe even picking up a guitar in the first place. I really love every influence to this record. I really don't know how to continue existing other than making more music. It seems so weak, but true. Her and the album, her and the album, her and the album her and the album, (but you're sick!)
Nooo I'll be better with her and the album. Ok really music is always there, she's not. So? Why make it, tell me? You just want what you don't have? So? What do YOU want that's so much more important? I don't feel like part of this album anymore, the person I am was created from this album. Before during and after. Today; I have barely anything left, just wrote a song about her giving me 5000$ and I'll pay her back in love. This whole time my best friends would say, you were never in love boy. Thats what it's about, naivety. Reaching and reaching, to the point where you truly don't want to reach anymore. Then you look up, even after everything is written on paper, and you get another reason to reach. Even stronger, stronger than the strongest reasons held up by no reason at all. Can't turn around, I'd feel worse running away. So I'm still reaching, just a baby on stage. I swear as much as I don't want to do this anymore, the smile comes when the music comes on. When the next song idea comes. The colors for album 3 swirling. I don't want to sound so defeated, but expression is part of it, I don't want to hold on to ANYTHING ANYMORE. I really don't. I could be at a point of insanity. I don't feel bad. I feel good. I get afraid of losing what I want. I'm not afraid overall. I want to talk to you. I believe in what I feel today. It's really hot but I still have hope we'll get closer closer. Im looking for the similarities and know it's not only the way I want. You've already graced me, and fed me well.
