One thing that always struck me is the feminisation and babying of Shane… I think a lot has to do with how people perceive Asian men and that sh*t cliché of them being more feminine but also the need to assign gender roles and straight codifications to queer couples !

Shane is an over 200 pounds jock, playing hockey, a sport where you crush guys against boards and drop gloves to fist fights just for fun and giggles !

Yes he likes to be manhandled by Ilya but trust and believe mama that Shane can knock anyone he wants flat out, anytime he wants.. he just chooses not to, well except when someone is disrespecting Ilya, then all bets are off !
