Car seat safety is a priority for our family. I've been in a few rear enders and felt the impact so I can’t imagine the impact on a little babies developing bones. I know for sure our little man and any future babes in our family will be rear facing until at least two years old! There’s a lot of dangers in a little ones life that we can’t have complete control over but this is one we do so why wouldn’t we follow the recommended guidelines. No matter what side of the rear to forward facing debate you are on please be sure to do all the necessary research and even talk to knowledgeable professionals. Don’t base you opinion off what other moms tell you.

2016 Lambing Season is about to begin any day now & we are waiting in anticipation. Of the 37 expectant mothers, 12 of them are first timers which means more lambing jugs were needed. This will only be our third year lambing which is so hard to believe and lots of adjustments are needed for this growing flock! We thought our little old 15′ x 40′ barn was maxed out last year but we came up with a more efficient jug layout. We’ve gone from 8 jugs to 16 plus there’s nice alley systems to access all pens easily. The jugs are a mixture of sizes, most are either 4′ x 6′ or 5′ x 5′. 

It’s hard to believe a year ago at this time there was small creek running through this barn as it sits in the lowest spot on the farm site. Thanks to Kyle’s handy skid steer work we’ve diverted all the run off away from the barn area.

This is the trunk of a 60' poplar we had professional taken down today that was within 40' of our house and garage. Can't believe how rotted out the centre is.
