Ah! Almost forgot to post my July memories - and what a month I had! The first half was pretty chill, but the rest of the month flew by with all the fun, excitement, and adrenaline-filled days I had. My sister and her husband were in town, so we had a nice reunion with our friends to celebrate all kinds of milestones. Then I had the BEST DAY EVER with my sister for our one-on-one time, which you can see a recap of in my "Our Sister Day" video on my YT channel. Then it was time to get down to business as I spent DAYS updating, revising, and condensing my resume to start job searching. So, I have also been assisting Madre at work to gain more administrative experience (and take stuff off her plate). So, this was a great month for me! Our Sister Day was AMAZING! 💜 The whole vibe was 90s nostalgia as we ate Krispy Kreme donuts, watched Space Jam: A New Legacy in theaters, had a sushi lunch at home, spent the rest of the day & evening at the fair, and then laid in the back of my truck to listen to music & look at the stars until the stroke of midnight. I love you so much, @skittles_rich90 This is another day that will stay with me for years. Here is the second to last week, when Ursula has Eric hypnotized and Ariel is heartbroken as she watches him getting married. Then I sketched the moment the necklace is broken, which releases her voice and breaks the spell. Unfortunately, Ariel's too late and turns back into a mermaid. Man, this month is flying by so fast! Today was the inaugural of Mental Health Action Day, so I want to share with you a few ways how I personally take care of my mental & emotional well-being. 💜 The main reason I started JL's Drama is because I was not getting the proper help I needed for my mental health. So, I took action by starting my YouTube channel as a way to do self-therapy. Another month means another Disney Princess manicure! I was SO excited getting my nails done this month because I knew the EXACT color I wanted! 💅🏻 Warm = gold & Cold = blue-green. I came across this "mood" changing polish a couple years ago and it became my go-to summer color because it reminds me of how the ocean tide comes on the sand. Did anyone else have this album as a kid?! Or at least watched 90's Disney Channel's The Little Mermaid tv series? It's an album that features songs such as "In Harmony", "Lobster Mobster's Mob", "The Edge of the Edge of the Sea"and originals that weren't in the show. Well everyone, it's May, which means it's time for another addition to the "2021 Disney Princess Bullet Journal" with the adventurous mermaid, Ariel. 🧜‍♀️ It's my dear sister's birthday month, so I chose one of her favorite Disney princesses and since the warm weather is approaching, I wanted an ocean theme. Another month has come and gone, which means another Monthly Memories page! 💜 April was a mixed bag for me, but for the most part, I made wonderful memories. I spent quality time with loved ones and I accepted two "jobs" to help a dear friend & strengthen my auntie relationship with my adorable nephew!
