First post in a long time. Eagle from Space 1999
Heinkel He 162. known by many names such as Volksjager (peoples fighter), Salamander, and Spatz (sparrow). The He 162 was a sound design, but plagued with flaws created by rush production and inferior materials used to build it doomed this jet.
Been awhile since I posted. This is a Mirage III in swiss markings.
And the Template.

Don't understand why my posts are not showing up in searches.
AM6 Zero (Zeke). This very agile little fighter was the terror of the South Pacific during the early days of WW2. The Zero had great range and maneuverability, but lacked armor to protect the pilot and would go up in a fireball when hit.
Not an Airplane, obviously Not even a real vehicle. Just a fun little piece. My way of saying “Tanx”!
The hero of the Battle of Britain ! The Supermarine Spitfire Served before, during and after WW2 in various MKs.
Who doesn’t love a Cougar ? The Grumman F9F6 Cougar was introduced in 1953,but was a little late to see combat in Korea. The next evolution of the Panther line,it featured 35 degree swept back wings and was armed with 4 20mm cannons,4 Aim 9 sidewinders ,or it could carry 2,000 lbs of ordnance.
Designed around data captured from Germany after WW2, The F7U Cutlass was an aircraft with a bad reputation. A lot of problems were caused because it employed a lot of new systems. Most troublesome was the lack of trust produced by its jet engines ,earning the nickname “Gutlass Cutlass “.
On of my personal favorites in civil aviation. The Beechcraft Bonanza model 35 V tail. Produced between 1947 to 1982, the v tail employees a combined elevator -rudder system (ruddervator).
Vergeltungswaffe 1 (V-1). Powered by a Pulse Jet ,the V-1 had to be launched via some sort of catapult system. After the war, the U.S reversed engineered captured V-1′s and an called it the JB-2 Loon.
