Holiday Techno
So a year ago we were in Formentera, looking forward to an evening at Space, Ibiza.....
...one year on we are getting ready to fly to Barcelona for DGTL festival, full on techno fest.... Cannot wait to see the brits smash it up, especially @paulatemple
Social Running/Drinking...good for you?? MRC Liverpool August Run.
So yet another monthly run of the Liverpool Chapter of the Mikkeller Running Club crept up on us last weekend. Sun was out, another great turnout (28 I believe?) and a quiet afternoon planned due to my secret birthday trip planned on Wednesday....
However, it never happens. One of the reasons we moved to Liverpool was to get out more and meet new people our own age (Average age in Southport = 70 years old). Well, we certainly have done that joining this running group.
Starting from the great Blacklodge Brewery, a nice 5km run done in the sun, lovely free beer consumed (testing out a IPA from the Blacklodge brewers) and then it rolled on from there. Joined by non runners the afternoon moved onto The Merchant for a tasty pizza, then Brewdog then back to Blacklodge before heading home, rather drunk.
So the question is.... Is something that possibly isn't great for you (drinking) outweighed by the running and socialising benefits?? Answers on a postcard...
