some screenshots of a desert palace that @cookieg122 and I started some time ago! we've since moved this build elsewhere and are starting from scratch to make a Bigger and Better version for our giant desert town (that I might share in the future if we can get it finished!), but I'm still quite happy with how this smaller, cozier palace turned out! :'D
got a few pics of the bathhouse in the back as well - we'll be repurposing it somewhere in the new town, but for now it's still part of this older build. I thought it would be a nice addition to this post, though!
(ignore the mess on the right side of the palace tho, lol... we have plans to move all of that to a nearby jungle but we haven't gotten around to it yet haha)
We had a storage warehouse on our realm already, but I really wanted a space for plant-specific storage for the ten million oak leaves I inevitably need to save for custom trees -- so I built us a greenhouse! I think this might be the largest build I've done yet!!
A couple of things have labels, but for the most part storage spaces are delineated by the plants themselves -- barrels for a particular type of leaf have the corresponding sapling sitting on top, flowerboxes show off what kinds of flowers go in the barrels next to them, etc. I really wanted the space to have practical room to store EVERY PLANT, but to also feel like the primary purposes is growing and enjoying them.
And bonus planning sketches:
it took a LOT of planning -- these are just a few of the sketches I did trying to figure out where everything should go. IT WAS HONESTLY QUITE INTIMIDATING TO SORT OUT, I can't believe it's done!!
Also, a couple shots of the little dirt storage room just b/c I think it turned out nice too:
If you wanna watch me walking through the space (these screenshots don't quite show it all), I streamed a little tour recently over here!
In terms of interior there is no interior. But the exterior is pretty and it came out exactly how I wanted it too! Was not expecting to use dark prismarine for this, the original plan was gonna be green concrete but then I thought it’d be too similar to my last build, ah well!

Everyone seemed to enjoy the initial Rosehill house, so I thought it would be nice to show an update! It's a small village now, which I'll keep slowly expanding, but in the pictures you can see the village center (a griffin statue), the greenhouse and a second residential home.
Days 12-14 of 31 for @clovercrafted's Buildtober: Magic, Soul Fire, Honey
Welcome to Honeycomb Industries! This magical factory was such a treat to plan and build. Although it looks rather industrial, I like to imagine most of the work is done with magic, with allays floating around to gather honey for the giant honey cauldron. Once the honey gets heated by soul fire, smaller cauldrons fill up with honey, get cooled in the freezer, and then are dropped onto a conveyor for packaging. A witch runs the whole show, and she's a persnickety boss! Everything has to be perfect, otherwise you might get a potion thrown your way...
A boathouse turned storage house. Initially an aesthetic building for little boats close to the river, has now become my storage house. As always, I’ve tried to put arches in everything.
