I think I gotta move out of New Orleans, and I think I might move to Philly.
I’m 70/30 on it.

When people ask me why I’ve been single for 2 years
Erik Petersen died today. And though I didn’t know him, or have listened to his music in a long time, it’s a bummer to have people within our circle start dying off. Going back and listening to songs like this one reminds me very vividly of being 19 and 20 and not being too sure where my place in Boston was. And feeling like I should just leave and start new somewhere else. I ended up staying for a long time. But it’s interesting revisiting that feeling. I’m kind of feeling like that about New Orleans, not sure where I would fit into this city. Only this is where I’m from and it’s tough feeling like maybe I shouldn’t be here.
