1st lesson;
Devising scene 9 in groups.Â
In this lesson we looked at scene 9 in groups, sharing ideas and looking at alternatives. We did this on the board so we can then share with the other group. These where our ideas.Â
This included being a different place than in the prologue, and very soft and floaty, almost angelic, also nobody noticing her as she travels the stage. That the kids would budge past Mr Elody, nobody realising so then it is reverse and shown again (Mrs hollidges idea). Also the alternatives to The old Ladies death.
Lesson 2;
In this lesson we did an audition to camera, i did my monologue twice because the first time i was very breathy and not so frustrated, the second time round i improved, but i still needed to work on my frustration and anger. Also I got redirected by Mrs Hollidge, this included me pausing, sitting down and then getting a new idea. This redirection was helpful and made much more sense as it was a new idea, so rather than continuing straight from the last, i took a pause to suggest it was a new thought. This was hugely helpful and also helped me tackle my nervs.Â
