SO true though! We are more than slavery, just saying. What about Black people during the Middle Ages, or during the time of Shakespeare? Would also LOVE to see movies in general about Black people who are not African American! What about Blacks in England? Brazil? Jamaica? The Continent?? Like wtf can’t we just have period dramas about romance, class differences, daily life the way the white people do?
