For my last art piece of the semester, I decided to paint my house. This house has brought me close to all of my best friends, and has stored so many memories throughout this year and last year. This house means a lot to me and I really loved drawing it. I tried to incorporate as much detail as possible into the porch and steps but unfortunately struggled. This piece is called “Home” because it really made me feel at home back in Rochester with such a close knit group. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed this class and had a lot of fun with the artwork!

For my 2nd art piece, I decided to use post it notes. I made these post it notes attributes of what I learned about being a Bonaventure student. When you are here you meet the most amazing people. It is important to Love, have Peace, Smile and be courageous. Friendships form from being open minded and helped me get through these past 4 years. I enjoyed making this art and I hope when someone sees them it will help them have a good day!

For my “connecting to earth” assignment, I decided to follow Andy Goldsworthy and use sticks to make my art. I formed a miniature tree using a lot of chopped up sticks. I wanted to show that even if sticks are broken, they can still be used to make something bigger. I enjoyed looking around my yard and finding sticks to use for this assignment.

For my surrealism project I made a shirt/jersey out of an Evan Williams bourbon box. I cut out the sides and the head then drew on the back to make it into a jersey. Hope you Enjoy!

For my art project this week I made Flip Flops! I used cut up cardboard and some plastic to make this comfortable masterpiece.

For my Futurism project I chose to design how people will look in the future. In todays age we have made unbelievable technological advancements. These advancements will only get more technological and computerized which is why I designed my person to be mimicking a robot! I tried to give him real looking hair with a phone from “2060”. Hope you like it!

This was very interesting! I use pockets every day and the only clothes that really dont have pockets are my pajamas. It must be a struggle for women to carry tons of stuff in their pockets. Probably why most carry purses.

I enjoyed watching this video because it brings forth a huge problem with todays environment. Seeing how much plastic is being left around is truly horrid. I really hope we can turn around how we treat our planet.

For my collage I used items that tend to build up in landfills or use up valuable natural resources. I used a gatorade bottle cap, a label from a water bottle, a piece of cardboard, a receipt, and a shoelace. For the background I used a paper towel.

For my art project I put together some of the very unhealthy things my roommates and I consume on a weekly basis. Though they are very unhealthy they sure do taste good!

For my Portrait assignment, I decided to draw my Brother Stefano. I chose to use bright colours (yellow and orange) for his skin tone to represent his warmth and happy energy. I also used other bright colours like the blue and purple for his eyes and hair to highlight the psychedelic aura my brother gives off. But honestly, how cool is his hair! I wish I had locks like that.
