Well, I'm Mia Diaz and I guess I'm the only STARS dancer here besides Nati. You may know me from competitions or that one episode of Dance Moms Miami I was on. It's nice to meet you all!

Out to Eat || Mia & Maddie

After a morning of dancing, Maddie was sufficiently sore. She had stretched out and worked on her technique for a few hours, and was thus completely content with her achievements from that morning. And, because of that, she was starving. But the cafeteria at the Joffrey was less than desirable, and was definitely not what Maddie had in mind. Thankfully, she made plans with her old roommate, Mia to go out for dinner, so she was excited.

After changing out of her dancewear into a pair of PINK brand yoga pants and a pink hollister top that matched her sparkly pink Sperry’s. Her hair was down and straightened and she she pulled on a northface jacket and grabbed her Vera Bradley purse. She was casual since they weren’t going anywhere fancy and she was sore from dance. After changing, she hurried down to Mia’s dorm and knocked on the door. It was weird not rooming with Mia anymore, and even though she loved Sarah and Jaycee, she missed the blonde.

Mia walked out of the auditorium the dance competition had been held in, without her usual smile. Joffrey had not placed well this week, with not a single dance placing higher than third. In all honesty it scared Mia that they had done so porely. The directors at Joffrey could have any student in the world that they wanted, so if they felt the dancers were loosing their spark, they might be well on their way to being replaced. Mia quickly shook this thought of her head, and let her thoughts wander until she remembered the plans she had made with Maddie, her former roommate and friend from the first intensive. “Oh shoot I’m gonna be late!”

She quickly ran back to her room, grabbing two twenty dollar bills, changing into jeans and a t-shirt, stuffing the money in her pocket. Just as she finished tying her sneakers, she heard a knock on the door. “Come in!” Mia shouted, knowing it was going to be Maddie. “What’s up? Ready to go?” Mia asked as she rose to her feet from the floor. “Where do you wanna go?” She said, as the two left her dorm and began down the hallway in search for the elevator to get down to the lobby.
