ヨウテイクリアしました。少し辛口のネタバレ感想です。

I finished Ghost of Yotei. This is a spoiler review. It's quite harsh.

篤の復讐心を鎮めたものが"新しい家族"の存在だったわけだけど、かなり保守的な帰結になってしまった印象が強い…。

篤には孤独の中で道を見出してほしかった。家族の象徴がかつての自分と似た子供（お菊）というのも家族を家族たらしめるには子供が必要であるという古風な価値観を補強してしまっている。前作の仁は家も名も捨て冥人として孤独の道を選んだのに、篤は結局養育者役に落ち着く。前作との対比がより保守性を強めてしまっているかな…。

篤とお雪が三味線の音で通じ合った、あの静かな連帯はどこへ行ってしまったのか。

まだクリアして1時間しか経ってないから、今後落ち着いて咀嚼すれば感想は変わるかも…

The thing that calmed Atsu's thirst for revenge was the presence of a "new family," but this feels like an overwhelmingly conservative resolution.

I wanted Atsu to find her path in solitude. The symbol of family being a child (Okiku) who resembles her past self only reinforces the old-fashioned notion that children are necessary to make a family complete. In the previous game, Jin abandoned his house and name to walk the lonely path of the Ghost. Yet Atsu ends up settling into the role of caretaker. The contrast with the previous game only amplifies the conservatism.

What happened to the quiet solidarity between Atsu and Oyuki, who connected through the sound of their shamisen？

ヨウテイの篤さんの顔とそれを二次元美少女化させた顔を比較した画像がTwitterに流れてきました。多様性を何よりも嫌う彼らの思想は元より相容れないのですが、実在する俳優の顔やモーションをキャプチャーしたキャラクターの顔を加工し、元画像と比較して議論すること自体侮辱的だと思うんですよ。どちらがいいか？なんて議論をしないでほしいと、ゲームファンの女性として思います。

私は篤さんのキャラデザが大好きなので、彼女の容姿が気に入らなくて駄々捏ねてる人を見ると心底気の毒だなぁと思います。イヤミです😉

I saw an image on Twitter comparing the face of Atsu, the protagonist of Ghost of Yotei, with an 'anime-style cute girl' version. Their ideology hates diversity more than anything, so I already disagreed with them, but I think it's insulting to edit the face of a character based on a real actor's face and motion capture, and then compare it with the original. As a female gamer, I really wish they wouldn't debate 'which one is better.'

I absolutely love Atsu's character design, so when I see people throwing tantrums because they don't like how she looks, I feel so sorry for them. That's sarcasm, by the way😉
