Guidelines for doing an RP with me:

*Be respectful and kind as well as patient. If I say something you don't like or am bothering you in some way PLEASE LET ME KNOW INSTEAD OF JUST BLOCKING ME! I know I'm an idiot sometimes and I don't mean to be!

* Do not write/control the characters that I'm writing in our RP. This is something that really bothers me. If you would like to write one of my characters for part of your reply ask first and let me know what you had in mind

* Please be literate! A few typos are okay but I’m not going to play guesswork with what you’re trying to say when it comes to spelling and grammar errors. (If you’re not a native English speaker that’s okay just let me know.)

* please be active with responses. I understand people are busy but try to at least get a few a day in (time zone differences may affect this. I’m in central time)

* Try to have a few lines in your reply (3-4 at least) this helps give us more material to work with vs a few word response that doesn’t leave much room.

* use ()’s to talk out of character aka non RP related things.

Just found footage of the MHB weirdness of Till making himself throw up. I'm impressed by his vocal control because water or not, that has to burn. And then he just. Stays on beat and in tune. Maybe he was feeling a little sick and decided to go ahead and get it over with so he didn't feel miserable with the build-up? I worry for him sometimes. He's a crazy old man, but he's our crazy old man.

He seemingly does it quite a lot (usually during MHB) so I doubt it. Some people have suggested before that he's washing his mouth out after getting effects-related gunk in there but he's definitely throwing it up at least some of the time since you can see his mouth is empty, so that seems unlikely too. Maybe it helps with the gravelly quality he's looking for in that song? Or wanted to spice it up a bit?

I'm sure it's not that bad since he drinks so much water during the show and there's no food in it I think (which, does he go in stage hungry or?), But they do a shot before they go in stage and I feel like that'd be a little uncomfortable

Imagine being the poor stagehands having to clean that up. That and also the spit he shoots Everywhere

Till on the origins of the Till Hammer.

When the first album was recorded, I later, during the tour, underwent several operations on my knee. It all started with a meniscus injury, which I once received while swimming, greatly stretching the cruciform ligament. At concerts I sometimes put my foot in the wrong position, forgetting about the tendency to dislocate, and had a habit of hitting it and knocking my knee cap out of place again.Three or four strong blows - and my knee was back in place again. Paul always said: “Hit it more often, it looks great”. Since then it has become a habit.

Flake on the "Feuerräder" accident.(Not for the squeamish)

“About Four O’clock we were allowed back on the stage.The use of fire this time, was strictly prohibited, so we reached out to our old show effect, which we’d used before for “Feuerräder" . I ride on Till S&M style and whip him with a neon tube.The idea came to me in a village hall in Thüringia , where I found a whole box of fluorescent light tubes in the corridor. We could repeat it at each venue because we only had to pluck the tubes from the ceiling. And at the end of the song, I smashed it over Till’s back.

Then, it usually worked wonderfully, he crawled on all fours through the moderately enthusiastic audience, up on the bar, where he broke several glasses. Returning to the stage he knelt before me and braced for the impact. I pummelled the lighting tube over his chest with all my might, but nothing happened. I tried it again and again. In American the tubes are much stronger. Till yelled at me because the song was almost over. Using all of my strength I tried again. Finally I shattered the tube, and one piece flew over Till’s shoulder, and stuck in Schneider’s arm. The sharp edge in turn slashed Till’s chest open down to his ribs. The lower piece splintered in my hands where the small shards cut deep into my palms. Fortunately it was the last song of our programme. I got into the small, one man shower with Till. He not only bled like a stuck pig but the subcutaneous fat also oozed out.

A Doctor came rushing out and asked what they could do to help. Till kindly suggested oral sex, he was told where to go and the Doctor left.

The audience barely noticed a thing, and even when we stood outside in the street, half naked and bleeding no one paid attention. New York was just as crazy as I expected.

That time Flake ran Till over with a Segway.

To the Anon who asked for more Till/Flake stories. You may know this, but as the title suggested Flake ran into poor Till with his Segway in Sweden in 2005 during Amerika, badly injuring his already problematic knee, and causing the Asian tour to be cancelled.

Till being the trooper that he is, finished the show, even though he can be seen on video dragging his leg behind him after that .

There’s an extremely low quality video of it on YouTube, though you can barely see what’s going on, but management also released a doctor’s note which follows,not that I understand it,but thought I’d share anyway.

Reblogging this again bc people in the notes are asking a lot of "Am I included? Am I disabled if I have x?" and I just wanted to add the flag here to show people who the pride month is for.

This is the new flag, the old one was more vivid and in a z shape, but it's been made more neutral to be inclusive of people with seizures or sensory issues.

Each stripe represents a different aspect of disability:

Red: Physical disabilities

Yellow: Cognitive & intellectual disabilities

White: (And this is the key one I think) Invisible AND undiagnosed disabilities

Blue: Mental illnesses

Green: Sensory disabilities

If you're autistic or have ADHD? this is your pride month. If you have a mental illness, it's your pride month. If you're hard of hearing, this is your pride month. If you have an autoimmune disorder, this is your pride month. If you are not diagnosed with anything but you know something is up with you: THIS IS STILL YOUR PRIDE MONTH.
