MOM DO NOT FALL FOR UNCLE JACK
A radiant First Lady and a worse-for-wear President ~ March 1961
A note about the Kennedy Assasination
For the past 4 years, I’ve been asked why I don’t acknowledge the assassination on this blog. Often, I’m questioned by other Kennedy tribute blogs or simply Internet “opportunists”.
Here’s your answer: it’s a tragedy. And in a society and modern news cycle pushing an agenda of fear, I find that there’s no need to dwell on something so utterly ugly and well beyond the memory of most of my followers.
I am here to celebrate the life of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. With that, comes his legacy, his political progressiveness, love for his country and his family. And, sometimes a good drink and looking sharp as all hell.
That’s it, that’s all. If you want to know more about November 22nd, 1963, you have Google at your disposal. Better yet, ask your parents. They’ll have a remembrance or opinion, no matter their political leaning.
