I’ve been engaged for two months and have yet to do any actual planning for the wedding. Gabriel’s got a whole cork board in his office that’s like, clippings for magazines and print outs from Pinterest and I haven’t even looked at dresses. Don’t get me wrong - I’m super excited to be getting married, but is it so wrong to want to bask in being engaged for just a little while longer?

Nothing wrong with wanting to take your time to enjoy your happiness at the engagement. Sure, you have your whole life ahead of you, but if you really love this person and intend to be married until the end of your life ....... you only are planning on getting engaged once. Enjoy it.

Lesson plans, lesson plans, and more lesson plans. I’ve spent the last two weeks straight doing up the entire years worth of plans so I don’t have to worry about it later. One less stressor as school is starting taken care of. My classroom? That’s another disaster for another day.

So I’ve spent a couple nights on Broadway hitting up like, Tooties and Legends  for something to do in the off season, and I know that Nashville is like, the country music capital of the world or whatever, but the amount of fake cowboy bullshit that goes on in this city is unreal. There’s no way that tourists think they’re gonna blend in wearing ten gallon hats and brand new boots while barely even able to swallow a shot of JD, do they?

Can’t it just fucking be September so I can go back to work and have people tell me I’m awesome 24/7?

I think that happens in all the big cities in this states. They just assume whatever it’s popular for, they can just blend right on in with whatever and it’ll work.

Hi all! For those of you who don’t know me, my name’s May, I’m a student at Vanderbilt studying joint History and Political Science with a minor in Secondary Education. Anyway, I’m looking for an interesting TV show to binge watch as a way to procrastinate actually working on my pre-reading for the semester. Or recommendations for a few good books. I’m not really picky.

As for interesting tv show, it probably would depend on what you like? Cause I wouldn’t want to recommend a horror show and you don’t like them or they scare you. As for me, I’m trying to watch This Is Us currently. I’ve heard good things about it but I haven’t been able to sit down and watch it myself.
