The week that Russia invade Ukraine (February 22nd, 2022), #CrudeOil was averaged around $95.71 per barrel. As of Friday May 7th 2022 Oil is at $110.61 per Barrel. Russia can produce 10,503,000 Barrels of oil a day and about 30% or 3,150,900 Barrels stay in Russia. India is placing orders for 5 million barrels of Russian oil a day. There is a 1.6 million barrels of oil per day of transportation capacity to China which is maxed out. Add to China and India, there are other smaller Russian Oil consumers like Poland, and Hungary that are still buying oil from Russia. Looking at the math, I believe, countries deciding not to buy Russian Oil for Russia's invasion of Ukraine isn't hurting Russia's oil industry. It has likely helped them earn more revenue because the world price per Barrel has increased 15.6%.
