Introduction Starters
âDoes this shop always have such long lines?"
"Chicago really is the windy city, isn't it!"
"How are you doing today?"
"Have you guys been having any trouble with the Wi-Fi?"
"That dish looks great! What is it? I might have to order it for myself."
"Where are you from?"
"Are you new here?"
"Welcome!"
"I'm sorry to be a bother but could you tell me the time?"
"So... this weather, huh? *Insert awkward laugh*"
"Have you guys found a place to put your coats/bags, or are we just holding on to them?"
"What kind of drink is that?"
"Aren't you a little young to be here by yourself?"
"Aren't you a little old to be here?"
"You guys look like you're having the most fun in the room, mind if I join this conversation?"
"Oh my gosh! Did you just see what happened?"
"Excuse me, but are you a model?"
*Looks over to the person on my left* "I hope I die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car."
"Is this seat taken?"
"Can I buy you a drink?"
"That is a lovely name, are you named after someone?"
"Hello, do you work here?"
"I'm sorry but could you help me with something?"
"Hey there beautiful! People call me [Name] but you can call me tonight ;)"
"Do you mind if we share a cab?"
"Excuse me? I'm sorry to bother you but you have toilet paper stuck to the bottom of your shoe... here let me get it."
"Hi, I'm [name]"
OH MY GOD.
"Guess what?"
âWot, John?â
"I met up with Jill again. She's a lot nicer to me nowadays." He had a slight smile on his face, revealing to Nick that he made amends with her. "She's still a bit arrogant, but she's not as bad as she used to be."
âSit down, you canât even walk.â
John stumbled around the pub, not paying attention to anything around him. That was, until he heard a command from Jill. He found a spot, a table of four with his closest friends. âWhat if I have to go to the loo?â
"You would?" He looked at her in awe. John was surprised she was being nice to him, although it wasn't too bad. In fact, he actually craved for a woman who was friendly to him. "Jill, you've changed," he commented. "You're a lot nicer to me now, which makes me like you more."
"Are you alright?"
âY-yeah,â he stuttered. It was apparent he was having a dreadful night, the usual lie was used to throw people off. After all, John would rather be in silence than to have others feel sorry for him.
She looked him over. She didnât know what was wrong but she wanted to help. Despite what he said there was obviously something wrong. âOkay.â She smiled warmly, hoping to put him at ease a little. âJust let me know if thereâs anything I can do for you. Have you decided what you wanted?â She asked and took the pencil out from behind her ear.
In his mind, he was screaming to let it out. On the contrary, it would've been foolish to burst out in public and risk getting kicked out of the restaurant. "Yeah." He gave a slight smile, trying to make ease with his troubles. It worked even more when the brunette gave him a smile. "Thanks- I'll let you know if I need anything." He quirked up a brow, asking, "Can I have a cup of hot chocolate?"
"Are you alright?"

âIâll let you go to the loo whenever you need to,â she assured. Jill was within his group of friends, sitting next to the much taller lad. âI donât feel like drinking tonight, Johnny.â
"Will you take me home?" John rubbed his eyes, his vision blurring around him. "You're the only sober one here, Jill." He didn't blame her for not wanting to drink tonight, it would've killed his intentions on staying over at Jill's flat. One night wouldn't hurt him at all.
âYou planning on sharing that?â
The bar wasnât too crowded, only a few groups of people. Sitting down at the table, Molly turned her head towards a familiar male. âJohn, itâs been so long. I was planning to share this bottle of wine.â She smiled at him, pouring a glass of red wine for herself, and another for him. âHow ya been? Feeling better?â
âYeah, itâs for you.â She grinned, holding the glass in her hand. Molly passed the glass of wine to John. âIâm glad youâve been better. Iâve been okay for the most part, except I picked a fight with⌠ya know.â
"Thank you, Molly." John held the glass of wine with his right hand, giving her a soft smile. "You picked a fight with Jill?" He furrowed his eyebrows.
Yo John
Nick, where have ya been?
"I'm happy for you, Nick. She's a total sweetheart and I know how into romance you are." John had a goofy look on his face, as usual whenever he was around Nick. "You're welcome, Nick. I try my best to live life by my own rules. It's tough, but I'll get there."
"Me neither. Let's not mention the fights right now. I don't want to be in a bad mood today."
âSit down, you canât even walk.â
