Red Flags 101
No Aftercare/Aftercare Issues
If someone tells you they don’t participate in aftercare after a scene, it is a red flag. If someone doesn’t understand the concept of why you need to put a sub back together after you have slapped them around, and broken them open, there is something fundamentally wrong with the way they view other people, and their understanding of D/s dynamics. The psychology that is embedded in people who are left lying there when their scene partner gets up and walks out right after a scene is absolutely damaging. Aftercare doesn’t always have to be bandanges and massages and a whole song and dance production. For most subs, aftercare is simply about being held afterwards, being told they did a good job, and that they pleased you. If you can’t get behind that, you’re a walking red flag and deeply problematic.
