Welcome to Jean Grey’s Academy for the Gifted! Meet John, the Psychic Weapon of the 2nd Generation X-Men.
John was created in a lab by the american government. Who was growing ever fearful of Jean Grey and ber students. Knowing that they were growing in power and that Jean was a nigh unstoppable herself. They used the mixed Dna of Cyclops, Jean, and Charles to create the new Weapon X. A new psychic weapon to control and possibly kill other psychic mutants that get outta hand.
He was one of the Xmens greatest foes, turned ally as he was saved by the team and eventually taken in by Jean and taught on how to control his psychic power, re-purposing his helmet that eas once used to shackle to act as a pseudo cerebro, allowing him to have peace of mind and to help channel his psychic energy.
Hes grown extremely close with the team since and often volunteers to go on missions only to hang out with them.

Overmind, formally known as Telekensis, is an extremely old oc. It's like one of my first big ones, but it was so terribly that I couldn't really redeem him. Thus , reformed him almost entirely, only keeping his powers yet changing his origin to fit the new narrative of the 2nd generation X men. He's a very shy and reserved soft soul now who's sensitive to pretty much everything yet eager to explore the world as much as he can. Often opting out to not fight but to live life instead (tho if he's needed by his friends he will do anything in his power to help.) I'm very much happy with his new coat of paint!
