got back from seeing ateez last night and i’m now currently going through the worst post-concert depression of my life. i’ll probably share more about the entire experience later on, but i wanted to quickly get some thoughts out because i have not been able to stop thinking about mingi

it’s gratifying and overwhelming to see all the reasons you love an artist displayed so plainly and right in front of you. right off the bat, mingi’s energy was incredible. and every time we screamed/barked for him, he (somehow!) gave us even more

i smiled so much, my cheeks started to hurt. i kept pointing at him throughout the night, like that's MY GUY! my favorite performer song mingi!!!

⏳How did your bias make himself known to you?

hmm. initially, i thought hongjoong was my bias. ateez is only the second k-pop group i’ve ever followed, and with my first the bias was Instant. him. yes. that one. and i never wavered after that. so when hongjoong grabbed me i thought that was it, but then my eyes kept wandering and wandering and wandering

eventually i realized, no matter the content, mingi was the first person i looked for, and that’s when i decided to lock in. he’s just so interesting, you know???

🍜 Is there anything you’ve bought solely because you saw a member eat/use it?

lmao. a friend and i tried abura soba in japan because the boys would not stop talking about it. it’s….. all right? it’s served with oil rather than a broth and i have a weak stomach. i prefer ramen!

ok ok the first thing you need to know is i’m Very Stubborn. my bias and my wrecker have been set for the last… 4ish years, but i’m going to see the boys again later this month, so you’ve caught me at a good time! my bias wrecker is jongho. it’s always fucking jongho

i think his live singing voice is such a gift. i measure time by the days since i last heard his honey voice. i attended all 3 of their saitama shows last september and each time jongho came out and sang his solo in acapella, i nearly fell to my knees

it’s kinda funny how differently i react to mingi’s and jongho’s performance styles. like — i want to hold mingi gently in my hands and show him off to the Whole World. i want people to look at him and cheer for him, root for him and love him. but jongho? i want to keep him for myself. he inspires the kind of greed in me that you warn children about. i am a sinister old lady, rubbing my hands together in delight while jongho is the little songbird singing prettily in a cage

💜 If you could put two members together for a date like an episode of Ateez+ who would you put together and what would you have them do?

ARGHHHH i’m going to be so predictable, i’m sorry, but it’s gotta be my favorite boys: mingi and jongho!! i love them a normal amount!!!!!

ever since jongho shared the story of mingi getting drunk on a night out and essentially love bombing him, i’ve really wanted to see the two of them drinking together. give mingi the expensive alcohol he deserves. let me watch jongho struggle with his drunken, affectionate hyung. if all goes according to plan, someone will start singing before the end of the night (INEVITABLY they will both end up singing, but it’s a toss up as to who’ll go first)

you know what, while we’re here, i’d also love a hongjoong/mingi date. they already go to concerts together in secret, now they can go in front of the cameras, where i can see 😀

maybe hongjoong could even try the vintage shopping thing again, this time his date will actually enjoy it!!
