Jongin had been gesturing to the tiny mass that had squeezed itself under the sofa. He was bent over himself, trying to pull the pup out. “Hey, stop that. He’ll come out when he’s comfortable” Yifan’s had called, poking Jongin in the side. Jongin rose to his full height, gave Yifan a questioning look “Why did you pick him?” The older man shrugged, “He was cute” and Jongin laughed, reaching for the puppy’s info. He was a mutt mix, no one was really sure what was slapped together to make the little thing. He was definitely not a poodle mix, had too much of a Golden Retriever and a Spinone Italiano feel to his coat, though Yifan could see him having a bit of terrier in him. “Tao” Jongin had bent down again, was calling the puppy’s name. “Tao, come here boy” the front door was opened and slammed shut. “Who wants takeout!” Yifan’s groaned hard, had forgotten Baekhyun had planned a little movie night at Yifan’s house. He’d forgotten there would at least be five boys in the house and fuck he could hear the soft little sound that came out of Tao’s chest. Jongin was staking toward the boys before Yifan could say anything “God dammit be quiet there’s a puppy in the house!” And if that wasn’t the stupidest thing that Jongin had ever said, because immediately all of them were in the living room, crowed around the little sofa Jongin had said Tao was under. “Guys guys guys! Leave him alone!” Yifan was pushing them back into the kitchen. Shutting down a the comments about Tao with: “Hey, so I brought that new Xmen movie” and everyone’s conversations turned to that.
