King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
I got a couple early access tickets the other day. And this was one of the best movies I'd seen for a while. The action scenes were great and who doesn't enjoy the appearance of some giant elephants! I don't think the character development was very complex or interesting. But the action was strong and the dialogue was snarky and fun. A lot of the time I feel like movies are not worth the time and this one definitely was worth it. Five stars
Nothing causes more pain, frustration, and disappointment than unfulfilled expectations.
Laura Lee Guhrke, When the Marquess Met His Match
One day you’ll have to choose diplomacy or your spouse. I’m telling you now, it’s got to be your wife. Diplomacy doesn’t care if you live or die. Your wife does.
Ilona Andrews, Magic Binds
People are shameless when it comes to cake. It's a beautiful thing to see.
Becky Albertalli, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda
I mean, I feel secure in my masculinity, too. Being secure in you masculinity isn't the same as being straight.
Becky Albertalli, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda
I hadn’t crossed the line. I’d ridden an elephant up to it and run back and forth along its edge while a mariachi band played in the background, but I hadn’t crossed it.
― Ilona Andrews, Magic Binds
I think God, in creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability.
Oscar Wilde
People really are like house with vast rooms and tiny windows. And maybe it's a good thing, the way we never stop surprising each other.
Becky Albertalli, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda
Happiness depends on being free, and freedom depends on being courageous.
Marie Rutkoski, The Winner's Curse
Stuffed creatures, come to life and attack werewolves.

So obviously this is a trend... I only read one of these books.
Magic Binds by Ilona Andrews. Which I loved, it was great! But I am disappointed in myself.
