Check out my Substack. This is the first of a planned regular quarterly newsletter. I make illustrate, photograph, and write fantasy fiction.
A coming of age fantasy adventure about running, music, and finding one's place in the world.
Preamble: If you haven’t read A Song of Chasing Part 1, go and read that first, this picks up immediately where Part 1 left off.
Want something fun to read? How about an hour(ish) long story featuring magic, mystery, and a few good chase scenes.
An artist. A writer. A father.
I published my first short story online on Substack.
If anybody’s wondering, I also hate Trump, but more on him later. #freepalestine

Longtime jack of all trades: writer, artist, animator, editor, director, sound engineer, photographer, and father.
It’s weird being bisexual. As a cis-gendered man married to a cis-gendered woman it never really feels like an appropriate time to bring it up. But by cosmic coincidence my birthday also happens to land on the Autumn Equinox (one out of every three years anyway), which is a perfect day for Bisexual Awareness. . My views on sexuality have not always lined up with the accepted (non-homophobic) norms. I always hated the “it’s not a choice” argument for gay acceptance because... so what if it is!? If there is consensual activity between two people then it should be perfectly acceptable to choose to try whatever whims arise within that consensus. . I believe that sexual attraction is neither binary nor static. People grow. People change. People experiment. People learn. That should be okay. I used to hate brussel sprouts, now I love them. I used to hate broccoli with cheese, now I still hate that. Taste can change, but of course it is not guaranteed to change. . Love is love folks, and it can’t be packed up in a box and labeled for proper shipping. It’s a mess that takes a lifetime to sort through. Am I bisexual? It’s just the closest label that I can relate to. . To me bisexuality has always meant an openness and a playfulness and a questioning where sexuality is concerned. I don’t currently and may never know the limits of my proclivities, but that’s alright by me. I choose “bi” over “pan” because all my relationships have been with cis-gendered people, but hell, I know some damn fine non-cis folks. . Be you. Don’t be afraid to grow. Just keep it consensual. Happy Bisexual Awareness Day! 😘 https://www.instagram.com/p/CFe20PYjquc/?igshid=12hq1nhskbdq
Yknow the thing where red pandas just lay down on a branch and let their legs hang and they’re just like vibing

I guess you can say that 3 year old was “spot on”
this post has nothing to do with my blog but I love this so much and I had to share
I could see it being called Leopard Bread, too. But Giraffe is even better.
This is utterly adorable
I thought maybe somebody shopped the bread name as a cute accompaniment to the letter/story, but

The article ends with the fact that Chris King, the customer service member who wrote the letter, quit Sainsbury’s and went back to college to become a primary school teacher, which I think is a great epilogue!
I thinks that kids marketing genius was probably worth more than f***ing £3!!! Just me?
I needed to see this right now.
