Who likes tanks and weird flying things? To print or not to print 🤔 I've been a little under the weather the past few days but once I'm feeling better I'll be back to working on some coloured versions of my illustrations. I'm thinking of getting small batches printed and selling them for dirt cheap, so if you'd be interested leave a comment and I'll be sure to post on here with all the details when they're available!

I tried something a little bit different tonight. I’m absolutely useless at drawing people so try every now and then to develop this. I also decided to use my @tombowusa fudenosuke brush pen, again something I never experiment with. Practice practice.

Finished the first in hopefully a new series - no name yet. They’ll be a single panel telling a fraction of a bigger tale, different each time. After my (failed) #inktober attempt I realised I am slightly better at drawing (only just) than writing nonsense to accompany the doodles, so these will be 90% ink, 10% crappy story telling. I know I’ll never get to this level, but looking at artwork by artists like Frank Miller, Jean Giraud and Sergio Toppi, daily work online like the Hanzo series by Henry the artist and Thisnorthernboy’s 31 panel inktober story push me to try something out of my comfort zone. Again, I’ll never be on their level, but it’s certainly progression.

So here’s to trying to be a little bit better than yesterday 👍

<p>So, my week off is over (I’m using it as the excuse for not finishing my #inktober drawings - I will do a full month one year), which means back to work and illustrating in my free time 🤞. It’s been a long while since I’ve done some digital art, I tend to focus more on my hand illustrations these days. But, it has always bugged me that I only did two in my #Zelda series. Maybe I should revisit and start planning a third.
