Been really inactive here both because I didn't enjoy the layout and because it was overwhelming to post on multiple websites.. But I'm back!! I'll try to post a little more now 😔

Hello everyone! Firas (@firasmuhaisenn) and Nisreen are first-year medical students currently completing their education in Egypt. They are separated from their family (which includes three adults and three children), who are trapped in Gaza and Israel’s ongoing genocide. Their family has lost all income, so Firas and Nisreen are responsible for sending them money to keep them alive. They not only need money to support and evacuate their family, but to pay their university fees. Their campaign has been going extremely slowly, despite several supportive posts about them. Firas has been trying to raise money since April, but as of 9/7/24, he has only received $8,364 out of his goal of $82,000 CAD. (1 CAD ≈ 0.74 USD and 0.66 Euros)

isaac: i just wanted to make her round and comfy. cross duality? idk might change this design later

maggy: gave her some hearts and stitches motifs. the thing tied around her waist is supposed to resemble a bow. Also VI stitches (the lovers tarot)

cain: wanted to give him lots of gold accents. his prosthetic is also somewhat made of gold? im still deciding tbh

judas: ive talked about his design before. it's supposed to be scientist-esque without feeling too inorganic. looks a bit out of place compared to the others but he's supposed to be a pretty different character anyhow so ill let it slide

eve: hasn't changed much ig. i wanted to make them look like a cryptid you'd see in the woods at night. she's actually supposed to be taller than lazarus but she's slouching and i fucked up their heights lol

samson: i'll definitely edit this design in the future. you can't see it well here but there's supposed to be a chain holding his shirt thing together. the pants i wanted to resemble pillars. ill redo the bloody lust/lusty blood tattoo someday

laz: i basically revamped him. gave him a lot of jesus fishies lol. something something the way they continously loop into each other represents infinite rebirth.. idk. punch him he's so punchable

bethany: her design hasn't changed much. i like giving her star motifs. she's the only character with a symmetrical design. she will explode at any moment

jacob: i've talked about his design a lot before lol. he's just light and comfy.

esau: same as jacob's, ive talked about his design before. he grows fluffier every day... also wow it was so hard to draw him here for some reason. not super happy with how he looks here but it's ok ill get it next time

the non-human characters (azazel, lilith, etc.) look very very different in this au. maybe one day i'll draw them but for now i'm done with this sort of thing LOL
