y'all, I need to give this podcast a huge shoutout. I started listening to it in 2019, right around the time I decided to commit to listening to every TMBG album in their discography. this podcast provided a supercharged boost to my renewed interest in the band by satisfying my autistic/adhd urge to know Everything there is to know about whatever I’m fixated on, and I haven’t looked back since. it has been a wonderfully entertaining haven of information for the last 5 years, and these days it’s better than ever.

I also have an embarrassing confession: I’d never listened to a Mono Puff album until this year, and I didn’t particularly enjoy this album the first time I listened to it. but with each track Jordan & Dave passionately dive into, I gain a newfound appreciation for each one. it’s like I’ve been given a different set of ears to listen with, and it’s really growing on me. what a fool I was to think that ‘Unsupervised,’ 'The Devil Went Down to Newport,’ and 'Hello Hello’ weren’t absolute bangers from the start!

Just listened to the Lump in My Throat EP and I thought it was super good! :] But I have one question: is there a bassoon in the song Lirr? I’m curious about it because I also play bassoon!

Woh. I had no idea people could ask questions to my Tumblr. Thanks so much for the kind words. That is a bassoon on LIRR. I hired him off of Fiverr! It was really really exciting for me! It was a part I had written with MIDI and he nailed it 1000%.
