Keeping my hands busy during this time of isolation has been a gift. I have two “spirited” boys who do not naturally gravitate towards quiet activities. I have a husband who is working from home and trying to host meetings and work through tasks that require quiet and concentration. It is a balancing act. And when we fall over, it feels like failure. It feels raw and angry and hopeless. And then we recalibrate and hug one another and apologise and try to find a new equilibrium. Every day feels the same but different. Every day is changes and yet nothing really changes. Thankful for my crazy family and the internet and wine and weaving.
