every time I see posts like this I wonder what my ex would think of me if they saw it.

I'm 100% sure they'd think something like "this doesn't apply to me. I wasn't abused because they didn't do it on purpose/didn't know they were doing it"

I wonder if it's still abuse when your abuser didn't set out with the intent to hurt you, just acted on their trauma in a way that was abusive.
