do you ever think about how careful neil is with andrew’s head—which he has permission to touch—in general? listen I know it sounds strange, but let me explain here.

in baltimore neil ever so lightly brushes his thumb over andrew’s temple. and fine, andrew’s injured, but then he lets his hands hover over his face. just there. just framing it. then he tugs tentatively, slowly on his hair to bring andrew’s attention back to him and away from abby.

he was given one place to touch—his head, his hair—and neil is just so damn careful with it. so mindful of what he’s being trusted with.

Something about Aaron Minyard is that when Neil joined the team, he complained so much to Katelyn about the new guy and how he’d caught Andrew’s attention and “what’s this guy got that I don’t? I’m literally his brother and he hates me?”, that when Katelyn finally met Neil, and realised that he was pretty, she very quickly cottoned on to Andrew being super gay for this kid. But whenever Aaron complained she’d just be like “I don’t know babe, you’ll work it out”.

whenever i order food i get nervous that the doorbell will annoy my roommates so i turn it off temporarily and tell the delivery person to just knock. but then i get nervous i might not hear the knocking so i go sit by the front door a few minutes early to make sure i hear it. but then i get nervous that if i open the door too quickly the delivery driver will think it's weird that i was waiting there so i wait an additional 10-15 seconds before opening it and feign that i just came down the stairs. i am built normal and socially average.
