Hello Again...
I know I have been away for a very long time. And i thought I owed my readers an explanation. This is not easy but here it goes.
You all know by now of te murder of my brother and sister in law. but what you may not know is the following. In August of 2016 I found myself in the middle of a very intense situation, my nerves finally snapped. I had a breakdown. I had no choice but to suspend my writing and everything else. But I knew I had to try to glue myself back together. Sometimes I wish i was more of the stay down type. But no i had to be born to stubborn to stay on the floor once life knocks me on my backside. I found myself in therapy; and to my great relief my therapist was actually able to put a name to most of the issues that i have had since birth. It turned out that my hecklers were wrong I am not lazy or crazy. Just a woman that has been through way to much for one lifetime. Anyway, Â her diagnosis was Major depression, PTSD, and Major Social Anxiety Disorder. I didn't think that being able to put a name to my problems would make a difference, but it did! Oh i know that it will take a lot of time to screw my head back on straight, and that I may never get over some of my issues. But i am proud to be able to say that I am trying. And i will continue to do so until i am once again comfortable in my own skin. But sadly I am still not able, and may never be able, to leave my home unless heavily medicated. Just when I thought that i had a good grasp on my personal issues. My family was blind sided by the unthinkable. My two year old grandson, William, drowned in the creek behind our home. We had been having a lot of rain and the bank of the creek washed out from under him. The authorities and hundreds of volunteers helped in the recovery effort. They will have my undying gratitude until I take my last breath. Â I am not sure how my family was able to get thru the funeral. But we did. Then just as we were once again able to start processing our grief we were once again blind sided by tragedy. Only 45 days after his death, William's six year old brother, Ayden, was killed in a car wreck as his father drove him to school. None of us, especially their parents, will ever be the same. And just last month my daughter had a late miscarriage. and even though i never got to hold him. The loss once again devastated us all.
I am not telling you this for sympathy. I just felt that those who have been so loyal and supportive desired an explanation as to why I have been away so long. I am however doing my best to get back to my writing and promise to finish the Kelly Jo Froggit series soon. I want to thank yo all for you support.
Josephine.

prettiest bath I’ve taken in a while. bath for psychic powers *mint for sharp thoughts, quick intuition and waking up my dreams and powers *grapefruit peel for memory and clarity *yellow rose petals for happiness and friendship, part of this month’s ongoing bath magic. *yellow rose powder (yellow rose petals, sage and cinnamon salt) part of this month’s ongoing bath magic. *black scallop shell, protection, magic *green salt powder (sage + sea salt) for protection and luck I started this bath by completely cleaning out my bathroom. I sowed sea salt on the floor and swept up all the dust bunnies and bad energies. Then I scrubbed down my bath and washed it out. Next, I scattered sea salt for protection and washed that out. First I began running the bath. I broke apart the mint into leaves, stems and buds and tossed it in. Next, I peeled the grapefruit and threw in the peel. I then threw in two pinches of the green salt. Finally, I scattered two small palm-fulls of the yellow rose on the surface of the bath and added a pinch of the yellow rose powder. I lit my three white tea lights and my violet taper for psychic powers and settled in! enjoy! 🛀❤️
sounds wonderful.
I,m Back!
I want to thank all of you that have been keeping up with me and my family. It has been a few months since the tragedies and we are all trying to find a way to get on with our lives. And i don’t mind telling you that it is the hardest thing i have ever done. But I’m trying...
While working through my writers block, okay i was surfing youtube, I found a few spooky videos I thought you might get a kick out of. Of course a list of spooky places isn't complete without my favorite haunted location... Waverly Hills! (i just love that place) You can find these new pages on the menu tabs of my website. I am also working on a few other pages for those of  you that are local. The most haunted places of Indiana and Louisville. I hope to have them up and running soon. In the mean time I invite you to get your spook on. They would make great watching tonight with the thunderstorms headed our way

13 Easy Ways To Infuse Your Home With Magic
As summer ebbs away, and fall flows towards us, we release the things we were holding onto, and make room for new opportunities. October is a special month. The Equinox marks the beginning of the rest of the year: three months to hunker down, focus on what you want to create, make and do, and start to see the results.
I like to do a so-called spring cleaning at the start of every season. Your home, after all, is the place where you spend the majority of your time: it’s where you create and dream. It makes sense to spend a day getting your home ready for the next few months.
Start by cleaning your home in the conventional sense: vacuum, dust, clean your mirrors, and do a couple of loads of laundry. Once you’ve cleared all the muck, emptied your garbage bins, and cleaned out your fridge, it’s time to move onto cleaning in a more metaphysical way. Here are some of my favourite ways to do just that!
Decorate Your Altar - This is the perfect time to give your altar a super-clean, as well as a bit of a makeover. When you do this, it allows you to refocus on your dreams. Take everything off your altar, clean it up, and then be selective about what you put back. Choose candles which reflect your hopes and desires, burn some fresh incense, and place your favourite crystals just so.
Open The Windows - It may be getting colder, but keeping the windows open – as well as turning on a fan or two – is a great way to keep the energy in your house nice and buoyant. Fresh air is refreshing and cleansing, and it gets the energy moving. If the air in your home is stagnant, that will affect how you feel.
Get a Salt Lamp - You can buy salt lamps on Amazon for under $20, and they’re wonderful. They purify the air, emit negative ions, and naturally clear the air of allergens, so they’re great for people with asthma or allergies. I’m obsessed with mine, plus, the glow is so soft and relaxing!
Bring Nature Indoors - Few things will make you feel as good as walking into a house full of fresh flowers! They really brighten up a space, and if your budget can swing it, a fresh bunch of blooms every week is a fantastic gift to yourself. If arranging flowers isn’t your strongest area, Real Simple has got your back. Alternatively, you could buy some plants and station them all around your home. They increase the vibration of a space, and look beautiful, too.
Use a Space Cleansing Spray - You can easily make your own (all you need is a selection of essential oils and a bottle of vodka!), or if you’d prefer, you can buy one. The Australian Bush Flower Essences Space Clearing Mist is super-potent, and it contains angelsword, boab, fringed violet, lichen, red lily, calendula, echinacea, chamomile, aloe, arnica, sandalwood, cedar wood, eucalyptus, and lavender. Bad vibes begone!
Light Candles -  As soon as I wake up in the morning, I light the candles on my altar, meditate, and then start working. The simple act of lighting a match and sparking a candle reminds me of my intentions for the day, and sets an atmosphere of happiness and calm. You can use any kind of candle you like, but I recommend choosing a candle in a colour (or scent) that reminds you of your intentions.
Put Down The Seat! In Feng Shui it’s believed that if you don’t close the toilet lid, you’re flushing away all the good energy. The same concept applies to dripping or leaky taps: always make sure they’re fixed or turned off, because a dripping faucet signifies financial drain, or that your money is literally running out!
Visualize Your Home Filled With Light - While you may not have sunshine streaming into your home, you can easily fill your home with divine white light by simply visualising it. It’s easy: see your home filling up with a bright white light, expanding and filling every corner, every dark space. When your home is saturated with this divine light, it will provide energetic healing for everything and everyone who enter. Another beautiful option is to literally bring more light into your home by hanging rainbow makers or prisms in your windows. They cast beautiful rainbows on the wall, floor, and ceiling. Such a treat!
Change Up Your Art - When you look at the photos, paintings, and objects hung on your wall, ask yourself: does this make me feel good or bad? Is it enhancing my energy or draining it? Surround yourself with positive artwork, and be ruthless!
Clean Your Front Door - If your front door is looking grubby or missing its number, do something about it! For easy house-witchery, make sure your entrance-way is clean and clear. Wipe down your door, including the number, the bell, and the door handle. This isn’t just about being hygienic (although, of course, it’s a nice bonus!): when your door is clean and clear, love, money, and other good things will be able to find their way to you.
Make Some Noise! In ritual, sound – whether it be chanting, the ringing of bells, or the beating of drums – is used to clear and change the energy of a space. You can do this in your home, too, by clapping your hands. All you need to do is walk around the house, clap, and listen to how it sounds. If a clap sounds heavy or flat, the energy in that area is stagnant and stuck, but if it sounds crisp and clear, this indicates that the energy is flowing well. In the area where a clap sounds heavy, stay in that spot a little longer, and keep clapping until the sound becomes clear. You can do the same thing with bells, singing bowls, drums, or even a tambourine.
Sage - Burning sage in your home is a fantastic way to clear out stale energy. You can buy sage sticks all over the place, but I recommend using Etsy and supporting an independent business owner! Another great option is to burn Palo Santo, which smells amazing!
Take A Salt Bath - Your house might be clean, but that doesn’t mean much if you’re frazzled on the inside! One of my favourite ways to relax and change my energy is to have an Epsom salt bath. You absorb the salt through your skin, increasing your levels of magnesium (which calms you down, increases your energy, reduces irritability, and even aids concentration and sleep). It’s marvellous stuff. I buy huge bags of lavender Epsom salts and pour ample amounts into the tub every week, and it really helps make me feel happy again. P.S. If you don’t have a tub, I love these tips for turning your shower into a sanctuary.
I hope these tips help you to transform your home into an enchanting and wonderful place this season!

Just wanted to say howdy and let you know i'm still working on me - and the books! But w ouldn't it be nice if people were like computers and when we weren't feeling good we could just reboot and...
If you missed it last night you can still see the meteor shower tonight - best time 12pm - 4am. they are saying you could see as many as 200 per hour!
I finally figured out that I’m solitary by nature, but at the same time I know so many people; so many people think they own a piece of me. They shift and move under my skin, like a parade of memories that simply won’t go away. It doesn’t matter where I am, or how alone—I always have such a crowded head.

The Healing Power of Frankincense
Most of us are familiar with frankincense from religious ceremonies when a piece of the white aromatic resin is put on a charcoal fire.
Frankincense is one of the oldest fragrances.
It was traded 5000 years ago in the Arabian Peninsula and North Africa, where it was valued as high as gold.
The frankincense route runs from southern Arabia to the Mediterranean, and it is one of the oldest trade routes in the world.
People in Egypt used it for embalming mummies.
The Roman Catholic and Orthodox churches have been using it for a very long time because they believe that it can chase away evil spirits.
The frankincense has been used not only in aromatherapy, cosmetics, massage and religious rituals, but also in health treatment.
The healing properties of the frankincense
Ayurvedic medicine has been using the Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata) for thousands of years to treat arthritis, heal wounds, strengthen the female hormonal system and to protect against pathogenic microorganisms.
According to Ayurveda, daily burning of frankincense in the home brings good health to all family members.
The Middle Eastern countries have been using it since ancient times for maintaining oral health. The local people have a habit of chewing it in resin form, which improves the health of the teeth and gums, and prevents infection due to its antimicrobial properties.
In the West, the frankincense is most known for its anti-inflammatory properties.
Its active medicinal ingredients are: sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, monoterpenes, diterpenes and boswellic acid.
Boswellic acid is the most important ingredient of frankincense. It has a strong anti-inflammatory effect and effectively relieves pain caused by arthritis, but, unlike conventional drugs, doesn’t cause side effects.
The frankincense improves circulation and blood flow through the vessels damaged by inflammation, which further helps the joints endangered by arthritis. Its powerful anti-inflammatory effect helps with Crohn’s disease and cysts.
Some studies have shown that the frankincense may help in the treatment of several types of cancer – malignant melanoma, bladder cancer and brain tumor.
It was confirmed that the extract of frankincense, incensole acetate, reduces neurological damage, eases depression and anxiety, prevents vascular disease and reduces bad cholesterol.
In aromatherapy, the frankincense is used for relieving stress, tension, hysteria and depression.
Having a massage or a bath with frankincense oil can really help with menstrual pain and inflammation of the bladder.
A therapy with frankincense oil has a beneficial effect on the respiratory system and helps with bronchitis, asthma, sinusitis, frequent colds and allergies.
Sprinkle a couple of drops of the oil on your hand and inhale it several times a day. You can also inhale frankincense tincture (1 teaspoon per liter of hot water).
This plant is excellent for skin care – it helps with acne, scars, stretch marks, wrinkles and wounds.
There have never been any significant side effects observed from using frankincense.
Recent toxicological studies have confirmed that the extract of frankincense is safe for outdoor and indoor use.
Do not use frankincense if you take blood thinners, or if you suffer from high blood pressure, are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Do not use pure frankincense oil, it must be diluted in base oil or water.

I woke up today; most FB post claim that is enough to make it a good day. Nope! For me waking is just the first step in a long battle just to get myself out of bed. First I have to convince myself...
