Tag someone below who you think might find this useful. My step by step progress on my Bobby Tarantino 4 piece. 1)layout, figuring out composition. This is where i have the most fun. Its my playground. Not worried about neatness or anything. Just letting my imagination run wild as my heart beats out of my chest from excitement! 2)refining the sketch. Once im content with a layout i start refining the elements that take up the composition.However Thats not to say the layout is final, I allow the piece to breath on its own and i follow along as it evolves throughout the creation process. 3)place flat colors. Fill out solid colors to start seperating the elements in the piece. 4) refine until completion.This is the most tedious process, and where most people get discouraged. But its the most rewarding. Each piece goes through this phase. Funnily enough, it plays out like a metaphor for life. Along the way you will encounter all types of uglies, but if you keep pushing, and trying to find ways to make it work, it all come together at the end. Enjoy! For those of you curious of my process,here it is pictures in simple steps. Note that there are endless ways to do it, but this is how i like to work. 1st comes the sketch, 2nd “flatting” which involves placing solid colors in its corresponding place. For the purpose of having a base. 3rd i begin placing messy blotches of colors so it could start taking place, and 4th comes refining, refining, refining and more refining.
