I’m disheartened as I learn more and more about the new notes update on tumblr. my main objective with my blog is to spread the joy around that I receive from engaging with the art that the talented creatives share with all of us on here. I’m at loss for what to do because leaving commentary through reblogs is literally almost all I do here and this update is basically destroying that way of showing appreciation to art by removing the credit from the original poster if I do so. I’ve paused my queue and taken part in the measures my dear friend cha had compiled in a post she kindly tagged me in.
I guess I’m forced to take an break from my regular posting while I figure out a way to do what I love while respecting the creatives that give so much to this space by sharing their talent with us. 🫂❤️🩹

happy valentine’s day!!! 🌹🥹❤️ where I’m from valentine’s day translates to friend’s day, thus it doesn’t have such a strong connotation with romantic love as maybe elsewhere. to celebrate the friendships I’ve made here on tumblr I made a silly little friend’s day card to say thank you for being a friend!!
the card depicts our favourite boys working hard in my SIMP’S CAKES -bakery on this valentine’s day. there are many custom cake orders to finish (front of the house has messed up the order slips and are now calling everybody back to confirm orders) and there’s even a fire to put out (ted and tim got into it over frosting flavours and forgot one of the cakes in the oven) before we get all the cakes out to our customers… at least one of my bakers is high (not naming names) and one baker is very upset that nobody ordered a helicopter themed cake (guess who). I did teach them all how to wash their hands and I’m trying my best to keep them from licking the spatulas. I’m saving all of you a slice of the best cake they bake! 🎂
now my beloved mooties form an orderly queue so I can give you all a virtual smooch on the forehead or a hug or a high five (or whatever you want, I’ll french kiss y’all thru the phone if ya let me), please and thank you!! I LOVE YOUUUUUU 😘💕
the suburban murder daddy is consuming my every waking thought (not mad about it) and the best way to soothe my yearning for dave is to read fics by the talented @sizzlingcloudmentality 🫠✨ if anyone shares my plight PLEASE do yourself a favor and read ”slow” and then all the other masterpieces she has written, trust me they’re all AMAZING 😮💨🥵
